Everything wrapped in the perfect lighting this time of the day, and the beautiful colors of late autumn. There's so much detail about everything, for who (like me) is interested in japanese aesthetic and cultural anthropology. And a truly return at the origin of cinema: a documentary with no commentary, just a "window on the world".

YES!!! That's what I am thinking. But they're old enough to have seen a winter or two there. I'm praying that they have a home they belong to and they sleep inside those homes at night. My cats have always been neutered or spayed and stay inside 24 7. To anyone reading this please see if there is a "trap and release " program in your area and if so please take part in it. If you think it's not natural to do that check out the homeless female pyramid that shows one homeless female that is not fixed can be responsible for at least 400,000 homeless lives. One cat. Think about that. Back to the subject at hand. This is yet another awesome video!! I love Japan and i love this channel. Thanks!!!!
Hi, Rambalac! This was a really full experience: seeing the city's new life after the tragedy in 2011, enjoying the views and observing cute cats everywhere. Thank you for taking us with you. Have you contemplated the idea of visiting Minamisanriku? I have seen pictures of the memorial park that has been built around the structure from where Miki Endo kept warning people to run to higher places, until she was engulfed by the waves of the tsunami, along with many other people on the building. It is a terribly sad story but a video by you from there would be very interesting and would also keep her memory alive. Keep up your good work and keep showing us lovely kitties everywhere you go. I just got done looking at a video of a really nice medival style European village. I'm sure Europe has some really beautiful cities but honestly this is like the Iceing on the cake. I can't say it isn't superior in many ways.
Does anyone know if there's a name for the type of path you see at 31:49? It's like a rural naturally elevated path, like on top of a hill? I just see them a lot in these walks and in anime and I've always been super curious if they had a name and what's the reason why they're so common?
