Please keep me updated on apartment you can find in NYC a with all those amazing amenities. I won a lottery apartment last year and i definitely took it. Yes it is small but with amazing amenities in a brand new building with affordable rent was a huge win. And that building is better than mine lol

I just moved away from NYC to Chicago a year ago. You are not overreacting! That space is super small and overpriced and they should be ashamed that they only offer one closet in that space. Even if it is just a studio.

NYC is tripping but also FL is tripping bc studio apartments are going for this much (without the lottery) and we don't make NY wages. Can't do it!

seriously no amount of amenities can make up for half a closet. granted the washer/dryer is a plus in this studio. wishing you luck sis.

Damn 1350 is cheap. I won the housing lottery for a tiny studio in a beautiful building in LIC with city views for $2070, I'm still trying to decide whether to take it or not mostly because of how small it is and only has two tiny closets.
Was the LIC building 5302 Center Ave?

You're being ungrateful!!! LOL...J/k...But yeah I wouldn't take it either. I lived in a modern studio at Downtown Brooklyn and at least the closet was huge and the kitchen was separated from the living space! This would be good for someone thats currently renting a room. For $1300 someone going to definitely hop on that especially it has an in unit Washer & Dryer.
LOL!! Yes someone will definitely grab this apartment but with one tiny closet ?? That isnt going to work for me & I currently live in 0.5 bedroom just like you did in downtown Brooklyn so that studio isnt going to work for me. I gave up on housing lottery because of the long wait for responses and countless denials. I hope I can find a place. It's only me and I don't make a huge yearly amount 😩

A studio in most cases is just a one bedroom apartments with a mini kitchen

I live in Toronto, but it's so expensive that I think it's more affordable to live in America. If you leave NYC, you can move to the south and find an affordable house.

I live in a studio I had one closet I bought another closet. If you are are not a minimalist this would not work for you My apartment is smaller than that you have to plan what how to use your space you made the correct choice for you
