You will never see that confidence before these comments stop. It doesn't happen often, most of the players know how to shake off criticism, Torres used to shake it off at Athletico and Liverpool, but the pricetag and Chelski's policy ruined the player. The media and football fanatics have dug their own grave going ham on Torres 24/7 for months and months in a row.

That's a really GOOD football player. The way he scores goals is just amazing!! :D I love him! And the haters still saying that he isn't good and that when he scores a goal is like a miracle, but we all know he's just an example of nice football.

Today he is looked at as one of the worst strikers in history. Because he missed ONE open net and was out of form at Chelsea. Nobody remembers these days where he was one of the best strikers on the planet. He was rated 92 in FIFA 10, and now in FIFA 16, EA rates him a 79... Just goes to show how underrated this kid is. He is still young. 31 is not old for a footballer at all, There are still great players like Totti who are 39 or older. Torres has plenty of time to get back to his old form and it will happen some day. It has already begun since his move back to his boyhood club Atletico Madrid (He played for Atletico before Liverpool from 2001 - 2007).
+Wolf Pack it really depends on his position.. Totti plays more of a CAM than up front and to be honest 31 is not young, as he gets older he will get slower and that's bad since his pace played a big role in h LFC days, as a United fan, Torres is one of my fav striker ever, love his style of play especially when he played in LFC.

Honestly. Torres broke the hearts of every Liverpool fan. It still hurts, but the only remedy for that is to continue supporting Liverpool FC and not to hate. Footballers these days are plain stupid. We are in 7th place, 9 points away from 4th with a game more. We just acquired Suarez. We have a team that needed decent wing and defender, and a recall of a certain italian on loan and we would be up there in the top 4 again.

I'm a centre back usually but I tried playing as a striker for my club the other day and it is SO DAMN HARD! to have the confidence to take on 3 players and still beat a goalkeeper without looking to pass off to someone. makes you respect these guys even more for doing it against the world's best

The vitriol being aimed at Torres by Liverpool fans just shows what a linchpin and talisman he was for the club. You don't get called every name under the sun when you leave unless you truly meant something. Torres should take all of the obscenities being fired his way as a compliment, and then let his football do the talking.
