Even years later, I come back to this video so often because it gives me chills. Such an amazing editing job. I really thought Torres was gonna be a Chelsea legend, but I still loved the teams he was a part of. That Champions breakaway goal of his was so cathartic.
whoever calls him flop have no idea what he has done for Chelsea Fa cup -most assists UCL-semi final goal, final corner from which drogba scored Europa-highest goal scorer, scored in final too he has played his part in every trophy Chelsea won during his time.
And this is something to be proud of? He cost Chelsea 50 million back in 2011, after leaving Chelsea he scored about 50 goals, and he was a striker. and which goal you are talking about in semi final? he was a flop at Chelsea, period. I have never seen such a good player to lose confidence as he did. Every one thought after scoring his first goal everything will back to normal, but it was not that way unfortunately. I really don´t know what happened to him, it was like he was scared while he was playing for Chelsea.
E com esses números ele é considerado um jogador fracassado. Imaginem se tivesse continuado regular como foi em 06, 07 e 08. Teria sido o melhor centroavante de todos os tempos.
@@SomeUnremarkableGuy The truth lies between your comment & the OP's. Yes he was a flop when you look at the figures, but most Chelsea fans when thinking about Torres remember the goal in the Nou Camp (that while technically insignificant released all the tension from one of the most stressful nights of our lives supporting Chelsea), remember that it was him that won the corner that lead to Drogba's goal in the CL Final, and all those negative feelings we felt at the time just wash away. It's quite telling that despite how bad he was for us through large spells of his time at the club how the live crowds always stuck by him & few fans have scathing things to say about him in hindsight. He always tried & always spoke highly of the club, specifically the fans, and does so to this day.
@@SomeUnremarkableGuy It wasn't confidence that ruined him, he got a big injury at the 2010 world cup final, that and a few injuries prior to that he lost a yard of pace and never hit that top form again. If you actually look at his career for all clubs he was never that clinical in front of goal bar that one amazing first season at liverpool. he averaged about 15-20 goals in all competitions per season. I'm a torres fan but he was never a van nistelrooy or henry in terms of world class center forward for goals.
Still one of my favorite video’s. Still watching in 2023. Always believed in him! Wherever he went, hè had his moments! My legend forever! My idol when I was young
Watching this video in June ‘24. I can totally relate to what he must have felt moving from LFC to CFC. I’m moving back to my previous employer. Happiness is important fellas. Take care of yourself. It probably won’t matter saying this, but I’m a United fan but Torres is ❤
whenever i'm in bad form like in football or even studies(which i am most of the time ) i see this video nd get inspired to do better . Love this video !!
When this video was uploaded, we were still hoping for Torres to come good for Chelsea. I remember watching this then. I still had hope. Although that day never arrived. But I still have Torres as my computer wallpaper. #KTBFFH 💙
5 years on and this video still gives me the chills. Kudos to the editor, truly a work of art. I don't hold it against him for leaving for trophies. He just wanted his name written in history. His heart was always with LFC and leaving left him conflicted. Will never forget what he's done for us.
Come back to you after two consecutive unforgettable seasons 2018-2019 (UEFA Champions Leage) and 2019-2020 (Premier League). Miss you so much El Niño! #YNWA
the way he's cheered when he warms up the ovation he gets when he is brought on, is just unreal! Im a chelsea fan n this just makes me feel proud.. this goes on to show all you guys that we might not be the best team in the world but we are is proud of what we are n our players! KTBFFH!
I'm Italian, but on wednesday I cheered for Chelsea, and my father was like "Why aren't you cheering for Juventus, it's an Italian team!" Truth is I really believe in Fernando. Recently he hasn't been playing extraordinarily well, but I have faith in him, I know that eventually he will start scoring again...and I will continue supporting him and Chelsea!
one of the most exhausting strikers to watch. so fast and physically gifted and moves a lot. Hasn't always been top scorer but always so much trouble to defenders
Torres scoring in Europa League final with chelsea under Benitez was awesome/in his top moments for sure. El Nino form is temporary class is permanent ❤🎉
i still love this video. you sorta feel his struggle watching this video. it's a shame that such a talent and very honorable man had to go through such a big down in his career. as a chelsea supporter. i stand by torres happily and am glad he's finding the cherished form again. slowly but surely, you gotta love a guy who only wants to repay the fans for their support..
karma happend. when you ask to leave 2 days before the transfer window ends and force liverpool to get someone so overpriced like andy carrol after they treat you like a god shit will rain you from the sky. A babyface cunt and nothing else. He got what he deserved and make himself the mug of european football.
ItamarDvir you really think he wanted to leave he had problems with the board and was physicly ruined by liverpool that's why he left he had a great relationship with his teamates unlike at chelsea
When the like button is not enough... awesome video, awesome player, awesome club! 2012/2013 will be your season legend! FOREVER CONTINUING TO BELIEVE IN YOU NANDO!
Every moment in his Liverpool career was a better moment than the winner (wasn't even a winner, Chelsea were going through anyway) at Camp Nou. Terrific video.
im a massive torres fan and without a doubt hes well on the road to recovery and like you said hazard and will bring a boost of confidence to him not to mention the chelsea winning the champ league and spain in the euros but managers of both chelsea and spain need to realize the key to him becoming the legend he once was is they need to play him more, he has a good game then is on the bench the next. keep playing him and he'll keep improving
He was once the most lethal strikers in the world with pace and confidence like that of Cristiano Ronaldo and messi but he lost all to injury during 2009-2010 to be a part of world cup campaign from which he could never gain his previous form like in Liverpool,Athletico days..So basically his career was over by then..He should had stayed in Liverpool till he regained his consistency in his playing style and then perhaps moved to some big clubs..That turned out to be his only mistake..But that's history.
I consider this one of the best videos on youtube when it comes to a footballstar. I sincerely hope you could make an updated/new video about Torres soon.
Torres is an awesome player and this was an awesome video. I know "El Niño" hasn't been in his top form since joining Chelsea but I hope he returns to being that amazing player we know and love.
OMG , i love this vid from the beginning 'til the end. Master editing , perfect job , perfect video dude ;) . Never doubted Torres , never lost a single faith... Torres's coming back , guys !
ive been standing behind torres his whole chelsea career...come on lad, you can do it. im coming to watch you against leeds tomorow....MAKE ME PROUD THAT WE BOUGHT THEE FERNANDO TORRES!!!!!!
Wow, I can only define this video as the best video about Fernando Torres (my idol) that I've ever seen. Well done!! and of course, thanks for this video.
i have to be one of the biggest liverpool fan ever, i still have alot of respect for him! i hope he can do as well for chelsea as he did for us good luck torres! YNWA
This man...Fernando torres will be the 2012/2013 top scorer... like if you agree and even if he dont..every chelsea supporter will still be behind him...cheering him on!
He was not wrong to leave Liverpool who were lacking ambition at that time..Always felt happy whenever he scored for Chelsea coz we always felt for him and he repaid us with those precious moments in Blue colours the one that will remain in history forever
Torres has been playing so great as of late. He was very good during the game vs Man City and as soon as they take him off Chelsea concedes 2 goals. Even if those events aren't completely correlated Torres was undoubtedly the hungriest on the pitch.
Even years later, I come back to this video so often because it gives me chills. Such an amazing editing job. I really thought Torres was gonna be a Chelsea legend, but I still loved the teams he was a part of. That Champions breakaway goal of his was so cathartic.
Same
Same here dude , saludos desde mexico señor Vlad y gracias
I see this video in 2010 when i was a child… and now, in 2024, I come back… thanks for this vibes… UNICO
