Thinking of you as you process losing your grandpa. First family deaths are the hardest. I'm older (66) and had older parents to begin so they've been gone for a long time but three Decembers ago I lost my only brother whom I was very close to and that has been very difficult. I feel like an orphan in some ways. We will all be reunited one day and that will be wonderful. And your church's singing is always so beautiful!
I so enjoyed this Lynette. Two of the songs actually made me tear up. Beautiful Star of Bethlehem was one of my Christmas favorites from our time in a Mennonite church and I haven’t heard it since those days. . And “Our God He is Alive” was a a favorite song of one of our dear Mennonite friends who recently passed away. She always requested it on hymn sing nights. I’m sorry for the loss of your grandpa! 🙏

Here in Lancaster, Pennsylvania it is in the teens in the morning and not quite 30 degrees in the afternoon. The wind makes it feel like 12*. So, it was refreshing to see you all at the beach and outside in the fresh air playing volleyball. Happy New Year and God Bless
