Sketchup has tons of complexity hiding inside of it. I've been using SU2017 for about 300 hours making basic plans of existing structures and made a porch etc but when I watch a video like this I feel like I only know enough to be 'dangerous'.

Making a dynamic stitch component might do the job.
How do you put the circle above??in the first figure
After making the sphere a "solid component" and then moves it by the line which is part of the sphere and uses that to align the sphere with the same axis of the box (top right corner) and probably presses ctrl while moving to make a copy.
im not getting the second shape.
Your videos are great, but way too fast to follow!!!! 😩 (Even stopping and starting sooo many times!!!)
