May i ask why after changing the length of wire, the reading of ammeter didnt change? Is it true that normally we need to adjust the rheostat to keep the reading of ammeter constant?

does only the voltmeter have a parallel connect to wire? Does the ammeter and rheostat need to be parallel as well?

Only voltmeter is in parallel to the constantan wire. Everything else is in series.
