Hi, since you're using a 6V battery, shouldn't the voltage across all wire lengths be constant at 6V? Please help as this is really bugging me, I thought the potential difference in series across the wire is just what the battery PD is?

in series, potential difference divides across the components --> V(of supply)= V1(component 1) + V2(Component 2)....
