Excellent video and great story. I guess its a good week to dream about SVTs. I owned 3 years ago, and I have a couple thoughts. The similarity to the M14 in design, using no action screws to secure the action to the stock was a problem seen in both rifles, from an accuracy standpoint. But, I know I sound like a broken record here, the barrel was too thin and too long, causing barrel whip. There is a great high speed video of an SVT shooting, and the whole rifle looks like a wet noodle. But, even with all that, its one of my favorite rifles, and although it didnt work out as a sniper rifle in WW2, I think with a little effort it could be made much better. Thanks for the video buddy
You're very kind with watching it and offering some very pertinent comments. I wish I had addressed the barrel in the video. I'll have to hunt down some slo-mo video and check that out for myself.

@@TheRedneckPreppy Also, I have seen 3 different style notches that are all considered "correct", that makes authenticating that much harder.

@@AthensArmory303 Yeah, that stuff is ludicrous.
Failed as a sniper rifle? From that measly THREE FOOT DIAMETER MUZZLE FLASH? VBG
