  • Today I decided to tackle a couple of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, Whernside & Ingleborough, beginning from Ribbledale.
The app that I found this on is called All Trails.
The trail is called - Whernside, Ingleborough and Ribbledale
    Points of Interest
    RIBBLEDALE VIADUCT
Easy to get to from Ribbledale Station
    WHERNSIDE SUMMIT
Good steady, but challenging incline to the top
    INGLEBOROUGH SUMMIT
Tough incline with lots of steps
    SIMON FELL
If you have time, it is worth heading to the North East Ridge of Ingleborough for a second summit.

Brings back some memories! The descent from Whernside and then ascent up Ingleborough are brutal!

I did his walk today. Its a cracker! The steep bit up Ingleborough is brutal, and I found going down back to the start really tough too, was slippy today mind. But added bonus I only had to say hello to 3 people in 5 hours :-) Great walk, great vid !

😂😂 love it, I’m so anti social too, having to say hi to everybody all the time 🙄😂
I like the first thing you clock is the pub, I’ve been meaning to get these done but I think at least one is part of the Yorkshire 3 peaks, so been saving it for that … looks a a steep one into Ingleborough
Another great video though, music and editing were great, catch you soon 🥾⛰🍺

Ha... I think part of the point of hiking is getting away from humans 😂
Both of these were part or the three peaks! Because I didn't time it very well with the trains, I didn't have time to continue on to Pen-y-gent.. but it was still a good solid walk, with a decent pub 😁
And thank you! Glad you enjoyed it... once I get a mo I'm going to check yours out

@@jodieoutdoors totally agree I actively go out of my way just to avoid people 😂
I haven’t done to much research on the Y3P so was unsure of the names but recognised one of the names, looked like a decent walk still and you more than enjoyed yourself 👍, speak soon 🥾⛰

Ha ha made me laugh about being anti-social. You sound just like me. I hate the busy hills and try to go up the routes where the "riff raff" tend not to go if I can. The sheep and cows for that matter usually give me funny look. It could be a female thing with me tho ha ha. You can't beat an ice cream to finish a good day in the hills. Great video, see you on the next one. Cheers, Paul

Riff raff 😂 Yeah it can be hard work when a route is busy! I was just ploughing by people when I could haha, especially on Whernside.
Ahh those Dale Ice Creams are the best! A long with a beer 🤗
