That microphone shield I used in this video is a 10 dollar project that I saw another RUclips user attempt and I have to say it did improve my sound though I know I have much farther to go. I will be adding a link in the annotations but until I do here's a link to the video I watched. Mounting the thing though was the real challenge.

Special thanks to everyone in my life, my beautiful girlfriend Kayla...my brothers Freddy and Miguel and my mom Martha (that's right I'm name throwing) but these are the people along with the fans on Facebook and on the comments that keep me going everyday when I start thinking maybe music is no longer my thing, that maybe I've done every song I could do and they make me challenge myselves.
To all G n' R fans yes I know I had some errors in lyrics but I want to bring this channel back to its roots. Having my songs and videos be not so much about perfection but about the feeling in the moment so I do apologize and know that they were noted. My deepest love and respect to all of you. I hope the wait for the next video is not as long :)

In my opinion. "Estranged" was the greatest song ever made by Guns n' Roses, but because of its length, it never got any mainstream airplay. This masterpiece had great instrumentation, superb vocal work, and beautiful lyrics, but it was simply not commercially viable because it did not cater to the short attention spans of mainstream radio, which eschews any song that is over 4 minutes long. Juan's epic voice did this little heard song a lot of justice. Great job!
I agree on how this is a great song, but theres No way in the world this is better than November Rain

Not sure if your correct. Stairway to heaven got some good airplay in the 70's and people were just finishing the 'acid era' from the 60's. November Rain kills this in my opinion

It's not a little heard song. It has been played live in concerts and there are covers of it. We even played it at parties when we were 14 year old kids. I think that never making it to mainstream media like "I will always love you" and other big ass hits at the time, actually helped. It's a gem that only Guns N'r Roses fans know and appreciate at it's true value.
I used to practice in the freezer of a store I worked at when there were no customers inside. It's really about having the solitude needed to sing at the top of your lungs without fearing judgement, otherwise you'll never really see what you can do.

As a huge Guns N' Roses fan and someone who spent thousands of hours singing along with Axl to their songs, I can honestly appreciate how difficult many of his songs are to sing, and you nailed it my friend. Excellent work. People who sing, even if just casually like myself did, understand how hard this is to do. Well done.
It's one of their most emotional song and the lyrics are amazing. "I never wanted it to die" ah the memories :'(

Since I was a kid, I always heard Guns N' Roses, cause I'm fan of that band and I thought: nobody's can't sing like Axl Rose, but you can, your voice is match with the Axl Rose's voice....congratulations......
He sings even better than Axl these days.
His voice is like Axl's but not close to the quality, range, and richness of Axl's. So it remains - no one can sing like Axl, his voice is just too unique. Just my opinion.

I just love how the lyrics are so bright and colorful towards the end, along with the rest of the instrumentation.
Lots of people can sing or think they can sing as long as they are singing along with the original recordings and same goes for playing guitar,but when it is just your voice or guitar trying to do those parts alone it ain't so easy anymore,so it is nice hearing a real cover.No,like you said you don't sound just like Axl,but you do sound really good and that ain't so easy,specially with this stuff.......Good stuff,Juan.

Sobre la calidad y tecnica tienes razon...cada video trato de mejorar no solamente en las canciones de Guns pero en general. En mi voz, en la grabada en el video y hasta en la manera que actuo en frente de la camara :D
Sobre Chinese Democracy, la unica cancion que intente de este album no fue recibida muy bien... creo que mi estilo de cantar sirve para las canciones viejas pero no muy bien para las nuevas pero quien sabe en futuro :D

It's amazing how you can go from a deep/hoarse voice to soft and mellow between songs. This take sounded so clean, your voice sounded younger. Very well done Juan :)
