I used to play WRC on a PS2 and it was the best driving race game I've ever played. Been using XBOX games since and they're awful. But my son's just shown me a preview of this on his new PS4 and it looks as good as the old PS2 game - possibly better? The PS2 game gave you multiple options of calibrating the cars - toe in or out, tyre pressure options, tyre compound hardness, braking options, gear ratios and ride height - does version this still have all these options?
I like to play with the cockpit camera, from Assetto Corsa to the first Need for Speed back in the old days. BUT in this particular game the tracks and landscapes are accurate and breathtaking. I like to watch my replays using the chase cam. Just enjoy the view.
Relax Tim mate, just because something isnt a simulator doesnt mean its bad. Not everyone gives a shit about simulators and they want to pick up and play rally game as rally fans. Its funny tho it has better stages than Dirt Rally (Own it) and Dirt 4 (Not as good as Dirt Rally). yeah still got RBR but that game engine is designed for cars of that period and because of its age cars feel a bit too lite. So play whatever you like but dont bash something you dont enjoy because that doesnt make it bad and it could put people off buying this game even tho they could have actually liked it. Now all WRC and Dirt games have the shittiest replays, thats what Sebastien Loeb Rally does best, another good simcade rally game with heaps of content. Will also recommend WRC Evolved on PS2 and Xpand Rally Extreme, all fun games.

WRC clearly didnt invest in a decent car physics and honestly it IS really bad, reminded me of the physics of the rally arcade games back in the 90s..and of course that if someone dont like the game people SHOULD comment about how bad it is so that hopefully WRC game developers will do something about it
