    Hi which rod do you think is better the Yank and Bank or the Monster X
    Have you got the preston just to match your other Preston gear ?
    Im looking to get new feeder and waggler rods and am looking at these and the Yank and bank I would like your opinion please

      I cycle the gear through testing yes I have the monster x & Tyson feeders. In my personal opinion the yank & bank is hands down the better rod I even prefer the Tyson over monster x for feel.

    Fully agree on the rod ready bag Ben.. I got a tricast and map parabolic both around £160 although bag is padded on map it's not rod ready..seems most firms are at it..

    Hi Ben I like your videos. I've recently bought both 320 for float and 420 for feeder fishing. Generally what lines do you use for float and feeder. I bought some 6lb and 8lb lines from horizon matrix and there a low diameter. They are stored in my garage which is very dark, already set up . But the line seems very weak after only a few months in there just wondering what make and size line would you recommend for both float and feeder fishing? Regards martin

    • @Angling4U
      @Angling4U  4 года назад +1

      I use 6 or 8lb Middy M-Tech or Daiwa hyper sensor depending of the weight of feeder or float

      @@Angling4U thanks for getting back. So which one would you use for float. I'd never normal fish as heavy as 6lb line for float fishing but with the lower diameter lines I feel that you might as well. I'd normally never use any more then 4lb maxima main line but the diameter for 6lb would for me be too thick.

    Would the 420 reel be better for your type of feeder fishing?

    • @Angling4U
      @Angling4U  4 года назад +1

      Maybe if I used a 12 or 13ft rod at distance or thicker line but for what I need there fine

      30 to 40yrd I would then step up to the 4000 version. there are much better reels out there now though. Daiwa ninja would be better for the money

    • @Angling4U
      @Angling4U  4 года назад

      Hi bud just un screw the top winder on the spool that controls your drag once slackened it will pull off. Be careful as there are cogs on the spool shaft that may move don't want to loose or put them on incorrectly otherwise it will not work. slide off spool wen your done slide back on making sure it seats as low as it would normally sometimes need to spin it. then re tighten with the winder nut.

    Hello Ben!
    Look I paused the upload right at the start buddy just to let you know that your spools are so so under filled matey!
    If you are gonna be chucking out a light waggler especially since we are entering the colder you just won't get the distance you are after. Truthfully if you fill them few millimetres from the lip you will definitely see a difference. I know that you are using them on a Feeder rod but even that makes such a great difference in long chucks too,.respect for the time for another tackle review!
    Tight lines 👍
    Edited ---yeah they could of but they want you to buy a bigger ready rod all and respect for calling it out Ben.
    Preston rods are brilliant! Even though I brought one cheep brand new 2nd hand unused on the bank and it's the Preston Carbon Active and that rod is fantastic. It doesn't come with tips it comes with 3 different last half of the end rod. Look forward to seeing the other reviews and the price ain't bad for it being made by Preston Innovations.
    Tight lines 👍

      massively under I know Neil had less line on my spool than I thought needed to film hoped know one would see lol. if I new before I started putting it on I would have backed it out.

      @@Angling4U Thanks for the kind reply!
      Yeah most if not all spools need backing on and I just either use some off of a magazine I've picked up or I think it's Daiwa Sensor as you can buy it in bulk spools and I also do use Daiwa Sensor when snag fishing as my conventional Maxima has too much stretch where the Daiwa Sensor doesn't and has brilliant abrasion resistance.
      Anyway as always enjoy your uploads and tight lines 👍
