Midoriya is really turning into Dark Deku… I began to suspect it could happen when he decided to not go back to school. Okay, he did so to not put his friends at risk, but I read books and watched movies/shows, so I know that when the chosen one decides to be all by themselves, it can only end badly. Because, for sure, Deku would end by isolating himself and his desire to stop Shigaraki could just become a blind obsession.
And we saw here that Deku is realizing that his world is not as perfect as he thought, that nothing is all white or black. By talking with Lady Nagant, he also saw that the commission is not just doing good stuff, that the system in place is not functioning well : she was used to executing people, without any real justice being involved in all of that. She wanted to be a hero and they made him a murderer. I'm proud of Deku for how great he is with all of his quirks, but afraid for what he can become.

Yes, Nagant is quite the complex character. She truly believed in the cause at the start, but it wasn't too long before she realized that she was essentially a political tool the safety commission used to clean up anything that inconvenienced their pristine image. And now history is repeating itself for her as she ended up getting used and thrown away by All For One..... a truly tragic character, indeed. 😔

Lady Nagant is who lets you confirm hero society was a sham, concocted by the safety comission to aake everything black and white and keep the trust in heroes pure, by killing and covering whatever threatened it, or branding them villains, with time it spread to the people themselves too, which is why nobody helped Shigaraki after he killed his parents, and how our main villains (minus afo) end up in that side instead of getting help or haven gotten help early on
Yeah man nobody in history tought that being a murderer is a bad thing it was all the safety comission.
@@samuelclayhills3298 no I mean, of course all of that is bad, but safety commision made sure they wouldn't get any help to not fall deeper into more crimes later on through that compleasant white or Black mentality people developed
