It is completely possible to discuss sex with potential partners, just have to have some boundaries(can’t discuss fantasies or anything lol). It is completely possible to live life practically without compromising on religion but it is Pakistan’s culture that makes things impractical.

Even in cases of no-fault divorces she’s still entitled to can take more then half of everything that man has ever worked for. In addition to this, she can also put him on alimony (spousal support). Alimony is money he then has to then pay her monthly for the rest of her life. Poor guy (her husband) probably knows this and therefore isn’t considering divorce as an option. Marriage is a very risky business here and I know many successful and eligible guys here who just don’t consider marriage anymore due to this very reason.

Not the ideal life, but you'll have to make do with what you have got. I have seen people making lacs in monthly income from the call centers. Good luck! My friendly suggestion for the 40 yr old American is to find her passion! Something she can earn money from. There is so much in a person other than education. I will disagree on your opinion of last mail Junaid bhai. As living in desi household many might agree how our elders emotionally blackmail us. In the case of this man , clearly he might be thinking that if anything happens to his mother then blame will be on his hands. Plus the mail also mentions that he self earns. This mean he can make living on his own. So this might be an exceptional case for people at his age not establishing themselves. For lady in America, you have been the US for quite a long time so I believe you must be fluent in English speaking. In that case, you can just join a call center in Pakistan. Not the ideal life, but you'll have to make do with what you have got. I have seen people making lacs in monthly income from the call centers. Good luck! Also, the US is not the best place to live in when you are reaching old age.
