@@marksmith3947 com certeza, Luciano P. tinha muito marketing sobre suas qualidades, não era tudo aquilo, inclusive fazendo um comparativo com os outros dois tenores P. Domingos e J. Carreras Luciano era o terceiro, sempre querendo ganhar fama no grito e pouca interpretação.

Come espressione è meglio Carreras. Carreras è stato un grande Chenier, Werther, Don Carlo ecc in grado di esprimere delle emozioni che in pochi sono in grado di dare
@@varaldoampelio34 perfettamente d'accordo. Aggiungerei anche Alvaro, per le eccellenti recite del 1978 con Caballé e Cappuccilli. Per non parlare di altre parti, come Riccardo, o Don José, o Mario, o Rodolfo di Bohème che sembravano scritte per lui.

Carreras does sound very good, but is pushing so hard to be effective. Perhaps he should have waited a while before singing Chenier.
Roles like this ruined his voice,a role for del monaco,corelli,though the beautifully sweet gigli sang it often and was his favourite role ,didnt affect his voice
Yes, Gigli was great in a lot of roles with his flexible voice and excellent technique. He was also very good in Forza as well. @@amantedellopera1681

Lo que podemos observar con los oídos es que José Carreras NUNCA APRENDIÓ una técnica de canto. Su canto es de facultades. El pasaje de la voz es nulo, inexistente en su canto.
Solo tenia un timbre agradable. Luego de ahi, nada. Igual que Placido y Pavarotti, puro marketing. No fueron nisiquiera los mejores de sus epocas.
Su marketing opacó a los verdaderos tenores como Martinucci, Fisichella, etc.
Totalmente de acuerdo con su apreciación yo escluyo de ahí a Pavarotti que si fue uno de los grandes y con la voz más hermosa de tenor para en mi opinión
