Tip of the day: You can parry many more attacks than you think All orbs attack can be parried wether they are red or blue Hit scan attacks like Maurice charged shot or Mindflayer laser can't be parried There are certain attacks that don't fit these two categories but can still be parried like the corpse of Minos punches or Gabriel spear when it turns into a circle At the end of the day it's simply better to test things for yourself Like, "Can i throw this coin at Maurice laser to reflect it?" And the answer is yes (Happy holidays btw)

Will help you to survive. 6-2 gabe will do the opposite of what 3-2 gabe did with his sword swinging attacks.
Few things: -Happy you beat gianni martragrano on standard because as a 150 hrs player i suffered physicly watching you switch to lentient. -The electricity+nails(or simply +conductor style bonus) is good, and can also be achieved by using blue railgun on an enemy with nails in it, more nails, more damage -coins movement is depdndamt from your movement, it's easier to shoot coins while standing still -14:42 holy shit, chat, she knows

The first time I played this game, I was so overwhelmed I took a month-long break after getting halfway through the first level. Take all the time you need. Heck, I have 200-ish hours in the game and only a couple of days ago started figuring out more advanced movement techniques.

Alright. I've decided that you need to learn how to parry. Go to the sandbox, spawn a stray (white skeleton guy) and practice parrying his BALLS. (btw I am very happy you parried corpse king more than once)
HELLO AGAIN!!! Well, it's ok. If you feel overwhelmed, that's ok. I personally needed to learn (yes, LEARN) the gabriel attack pattern via practice and error
In between the phase 1 to phase 2 of Gabriel when he falls, u can chain shots and keep him midair without needing to move (or think) for a short period of time + best time to use overheat nailgun :]
3 “fun” things - The 3rd one: 1. That black hole thingy during the fight with Minos’ corpse*? I dunno if you touched it or not, but if you do, your HP drops to 1. Also, the black hole just goes away after some time… on Standard. On harder difficulties, it’s there permanently. Unrelated, but congrats on successfully parrying Minos’ corpse’s** punches! 2. Just in case you haven’t been, be sure to read the Tip of the Day at the start of each level. They’re extremely helpful for first timers and often give a hint about how to handle a certain enemy or obstacle coming up in said level. 3. Congrats on beating Gabriel on Standard! On that note, a useful tip when fighting Gabriel; whenever he speaks during the fight about foolishness or whatever, he’s actually not doing anything and leaving himself open to attack. Why am I telling you this after you’ve already beaten him? Well, he said it himself, didn’t he? *“This is not over.”* *Not to be confused with Minos Prime, that’s another thing **Again, not actually Minos. Just his corpse being controlled by parasites. Which is even worse if you think about it, so good thing you killed them!

2:18 calling Gabriel "Gabie" is so funny to me, I doubt it was intentional but just the thought that you are so comfortable killing him that you gave him a little, non-threatening, nickname is funny
when you use the electric railcannon on a big, high health enemy, adding a single nail will make it do a bit more damage. If you add a bunch of nails and some magnets, it does even more damage. If you use this on a small enemy in a crowd, it does that aftershock damage to every surrounding enemy. You can replace electric railcannon with jumpstart burst for the same effect, it just takes a while to charge up.
Make a habit of switching to a different weapon immediately after firing. If you fire even a single nail out of Sally, Sasha's overheat immediately goes to full. And if you switch weapons before the overheat runs out (during alt firing) the bar is preserved. You can combo two nailguns together in that way.
Minos Prime is A TASK, but it's so worth it. Arguably the best boss in the game (At least as far as I've played, I beat 4th layer) and you'll have to refine a ton of your skills (movement, finesse, adaptability, etc.) In order to P-rank all levels, and that'll go to good use against the boss. I'd recommend: 1. Learning what each weapon does best and switching between them frequently do best accomplish the task in that specific moment 2. LEARNING THE MARKSMAN. It is both amazing for getting style points (useful for p-ranks) and is just a great way of dealing damage without looking at your opponent 3. Using the Drill for basically every boss encounter. Its damage over time is basically the same, if not stronger than the blue railgun, and its regenerative capabilities are very helpful (I haven't died once when it was in use) 4. Remember all your alternates. That green shotgun is the best one if what you want is a heavy-hitting projectile spread, and then the red one mows through enemies as you keep it revving (hit it when a red spark flashes on ur screen) 5. GIT GOOD
did you knows: if you presses v or b you can flights in the sandbox ifs you on the sandbox, pressings c remove coodlown oh and also you can skip across liquids by sliding so you can completely skip the moving wall part of 3-2 if you align yourself well
okay but genuine coin tips: in most angles it's a different flick immediately after spawning the coin to shoot it quickly, but while in the air you can look directly down- throw the coin and it'll be right underneath to shoot, no need to aim for it. The most ideal time to shoot the coin is when it flashes so it can split but shooting it earlier than that is easier for beginners.

I got a question, do you think you'll do the prime sanctums once you've beaten the base game? if you don't know you basically need to p-rank every level in act 1 to access p-1 and the same thing for p-2. it'd be pretty cool seeing your reactions to them.

The reason minos’s punch didn’t hurt you was because you dashed when you got punched it gave you i-frames, (invincibility frames) which made you invincible for 0.2 seconds.
Also the coins follow the way you move, like if you walk backwards the coin will go directly up (good for landing coin punches, oh yeah, you can also punch the coins)

okay but genuine coin tips: in most angles it's a different flick immediately after spawning the coin to shoot it quickly, but while in the air you can look directly down- throw the coin and it'll be right underneath to shoot, no need to aim for it.
The most ideal time to shoot the coin is when it flashes so it can split but shooting it earlier than that is easier for beginners.

The reason minos’s punch didn’t hurt you was because you dashed when you got punched it gave you i-frames, (invincibility frames) which made you invincible for 0.2 seconds.
Also the coins follow the way you move, like if you walk backwards the coin will go directly up (good for landing coin punches, oh yeah, you can also punch the coins)
