I love how Jbeauty favors small eyeshadow palettes, it really makes me appreciate a smaller form factor. But they really shine with their gel and liquid liners, the drugstore ones are just amazing in quality! I remember just buying them by the fistful in many Don Quijote stores because of their price (and its tax free for tourists!).

I love almost everything from Canmake, my favorites are their eyeliners (with pointed tip ones) and their cream blushes 😁
How do your like their pearl blushes? Do they have good longevity?
@@RG_Eph do you mean the cream blush with glitters? If I remember correctly, I never tried those shades with particular finish. The regular cream blushes have tiny bit of shimmer but it does not clearly seen when applied. Since I live in tropical country which is very hot & humid, the blush doesn't stay very long, maybe just 3-4 hours, but they are easily reapplied with fingers.

@@RG_Eph I have really bad longevity with Canmake blushes, maybe 3 hours tops. It really sucks because their blushes are so cute.

Hi Judy! I just wanted to let you know about the current situation in China..
Products that are made in mainland China and don’t sell sunscreen (which is always required to be tested on animals) can decide not to test on animals and can be cruelty free like Flower Knows!
Products that are made outside of mainland China and are sold only online in China are not subject to animal testing (like Tonymoly sells only online there to get cruelty free status)
Products that are made outside of mainland China and are sold in physical stores in mainland China are subject to animal testing like Etude House, 3CE, etc.
For anyone interested, Ethical Elephant (not affiliated because of my username lol I just like elephants) released a really great infographic explaining the laws that changed on May 1, 2021

I agree with you Judy 😊 for me, their eyeshadows are so good that I hit pan on Canmake Antique Terracotta and Majolica Majorca (forgot the palette name) very smooth and stays on really long. JBeauty is a first love for me in makeup before Kbeauty and CBeauty came along. Can't wait to see the other products you get to try 😁

I looove canmake makeup! Their blushers, eyeliners, eyeshadows, lip products, powders and sunscreen are my staples. Honestly can’t live without them. Their cream blushes (the ones you used) and their purple blusher lives in my every day makeup bag 🫶🏻🩷
I love these types of videos! I would love to see a part two to this video and another video of you trying Chinese makeup brands in the future.
sweet judy, can you do a video in which you show us different ways in which we can use dark shimmer shades? i always have trouble finding the use for them but i don't want them to just stay untouched in my palettes. thank you so much ❤️
aAA im so happy that you're trying out more japanese brands! canmake is one of my favorite brands and kiss me makes my fav mascara and eyeliner! for recommendations though, I'm really liking the bcl browlash ex ultra skinny brow pencil as it reminds me of the unleashia one a lot!
The thing i realise about japanese eyeshadow palettes are THEY LOVE SHIMMER like they have shimmer everything and i think thats what deter me from buying coz i want something that can be natural make up too
A lot of these brands I've seen around a lot and have always been curious but never got to try. Glad we got a Judy review, cos now I'm gonna go out and buy the products I had my eye on! And ugh, the Canmake Creamy Touch Liner is the besttttt 😩I have their Medium Brown, Azuki Brown, and their Cocoa Greige. I always think about their Darjeeling Pink too. I don't wear makeup other than lips much at all, but this liner MAKES me want to wear makeup. I love it so much. I've also tried their pen liners (their Effortless Liner and their 3way Slim Shade Liner). Effortless has cute colours, but the 3way Shade Liner is literally the perfect natural aegyosal pen. You can draw it on directly, but if I want a more natural look I blend out the line with my finger and it looks sooo real, it's insane.
Gonna use this video as reference when I go shopping during my upcoming Japan trip 🤭 Thank you for the video, Judy 💕

i had that same issue with the canmake cream blushes too omg! which is so wild to me cos it's one of canmake's most popular products so i was super excited abt it... but i find bcos the formula sheers out so nice, you'd want to layer more and then when you layer more it just looks patchier than you'd like LOL. i know you made a big moira cosmetics order end of last year, their cream blushes (said to be a dupe for tower 28 ones) are to die for! makes the cheeks look so pretty and pigmentation + formula is just so good, i love them more than other high end cream/liquid blushes i have in my collection

The brand Kate also sells creamy skinny gel eyeliner. I think it is comparable to the Canmake ones.

I have the Cannes make blush in about three different colors and I find the biggest challenge for me is figuring out how to open them lol but they are perfect for winter and they are really nice creamy formula and they don’t get enough attention that’s for sure another great cream blush and a stick is from Sally’s beauty supply believe it or not

I really like Asian beauty brands but especially for their foundations, lip products, eyeliners and mascaras. I haven't gotten the chance to try other base products like blush, contour, etc but guessing from their eyeshadow formulas I imagine they blend like a dream. The eyeshadow palettes are very very cute but my style is darker and more western/dramatic so the eyeshadows are a bit too subtle for my personal preference.
I do, however, have one eyeshadow palette and on days I wanna do something simpler or more natural I go for that one. I can however vouch for the formula, it's really soft, blendable and buildable. I'm obsessed with their mascaras bc they are super lengthening and long-wearing, they're a staple for me and probably one of my favorites. I've only tried liquid eyeliners with a brush tip and they are truly amazing. I much prefer brush tips over felt tips and most of the liquid liners in Asian beauty brands are the former _and_ they're super thin so I really appreciate that since I love a sharp, precise line. Lastly, their lip products are honestly next-level. They've truly mastered lip formulas (especially lip stains) and I'm here for it. From what I've tried they've managed to achieve the perfect balance of comfy and long-wearing and they're very easy to reapply.
