Loved watching him do these spots on the Smothers Brothers show. He and the brothers were simply too much for the network censors. What an awesome time and all of them pushed the envelope as far as they could.
Good lord, I can't believe I found this. I have dim childhood memories of it, when it was on TV originally--and now here it is on demand online! *shakes head*...Oh, fun show btw...
One thing I love about RUclips, is even if you missed it the first time around, you can see it eventually.
What a treat. 😂
This is fantastic performance

Things you can never unsee. Thanks, Mr. Stafford! =)
Love that guy. I remember Jim from so many years ago when he was all over television...I hope he's doing well these days.
I remember watching your show, loved your humor and songs....had a crush on you....Ladies, anyone else?
He's a fucking looney tune and I love every second of it

Plectrum banjo style on 5 string banjo
Yeah blue banjo 🪕
One of a *gobble gobble* kind!
This turkey plays a mean banjo.
Jim Stafford was Les Claypool before Les Claypool was Les Claypool.
Makes chicken noises at the end of a turkey song. I like that.
I've landed in a parallel universe.
😂😂😂😂
About 160 pounds of "silly putty"....very talented silly putty.
