Jokes apart :) , Harris is consistent with delivering melodies and ear-worms in which ARR, Anirudh, current Gen composers fail to deliver even now. His songs have recall value and very few are "skippable". Probably one of my favorite musicians till date as he promises to deliver 1 or 2 melody songs out of a commercial album (or even more if it's a true musical.)

ARR of late hasn't given a song that many can recall (maybe if it's a really good directional like Shankar or Mani Ratnam.) These days if number of hits/views is considered "reach", it's not. Even spam bots can contribute to this. ARR is still good but something in his songs of late not able to listen throughout. Take CCV and Sarkar for example. Neither albums had anything redeemable (barring CCV's Mazhai Kuruvi). And Sarkar was just 2Point0 rejected tunes packaged for a ARM/Vijay film baring Oruviral.
