Thanks Eddie, my grandfather is a farmer who used to dig up the old kauri posts and make beautiful seats and tables from them, he's always been my inspiration so its nice thinking I might be able to do that for my kids and others. That's a great looking piece and I gather from that silly grin and spread of arms at the end that you are quite proud as you should be. The grain lines in the ply look quite good and they match up well and the Rubio lifts and enhances them nicely. It's a great finish worth the price.
