Now, what they did with these properties were very different. Cartoon Network used Ed, Edd, and Eddy well, while Nick used The Fairly OddParents well, but it went downhill later.

Actually in this version i can't unsee fever dreaming. Pen's soft voice, lacking background, the scene where Pen mount on Jake, all gives that imagination vibe.

Oh man, I remember seeing the Pen&Jake pilot on RUclips back in the late 2000s and thinking it was hilarious random humor, and then being blown away when I got to watching the actual show on Cartoon Network. I still have nostalgic feelings for the pilot, but I'm glad CN took it and did such amazing things with it.

Adventure Time changed the overall tone of the entire Cartoon Network channel. After the classics for both channels ended, they needed that one show to reform their channels and CN had Adventure Time. Imagine what it would have done for Nick

Ah Random Cartoons, I remember watching that adventure time pilot. Wasn’t Bravest Warriors and that cartoon Nick picked up that failed (Had a cat trying to kill roaches or whatever, (no wonder why it failed)) on it?
It mind boggles me that Nickelodeon rejected Adventure Time because it would too dark and weird for younger viewers, but yet even though they aired Avatar: The Last Airbender which is pretty much one of Nickelodeon’s darkest cartoons along Invader Zim and The Legend of Korra, and that most of Nickelodeon’s cartoons are weird whether they are good or bad. I feel like Cartoon Network and Disney XD are our last resorts for quality content that mix weirdness with an actual overarching story now. Nickelodeon right now is pretty much focused on SpongeBob now in which I think they should’ve ended it after SpongeBob creator Stephen Hillenburg died. Basically, now Cartoon Network and Disney XD are airing content based on quality over quantity. Nickelodeon is basically doing it for quantity over quality.

Well, this is a good thing. Since they'd do what they did to Welcome to the Wayne, by screwing with airtimes, or just what they do to most shows. Cancelling it the second it doesn't immediately match up to their most viewed TV show that's been on the air for more than 25 years.

Adventure Time changed the overall tone of the entire Cartoon Network channel. After the classics for both channels ended, they needed that one show to reform their channels and CN had Adventure Time. Imagine what it would have done for Nick
If the show was on Nick, they probably would've cancelled it within a few years to add more timeslots for SpongeBob, Fairly OddParents, and Jimmy Neutron

I had not even realised that Adventure Time was originally produced by Nickelodeon, a subsidiary of ViacomCBS which is now known as Paramount Global. So Nickelodeon must have sold the rights of Adventure Time to their fellow competitor Cartoon Network.

Ah Random Cartoons, I remember watching that adventure time pilot. Wasn’t Bravest Warriors and that cartoon Nick picked up that failed (Had a cat trying to kill roaches or whatever, (no wonder why it failed)) on it?

Adventure Time on Nickelodeon would be too confusing for my taste lol
It mind boggles me that Nickelodeon rejected Adventure Time because it would too dark and weird for younger viewers, but yet even though they aired Avatar: The Last Airbender which is pretty much one of Nickelodeon’s darkest cartoons along Invader Zim and The Legend of Korra, and that most of Nickelodeon’s cartoons are weird whether they are good or bad. I feel like Cartoon Network and Disney XD are our last resorts for quality content that mix weirdness with an actual overarching story now. Nickelodeon right now is pretty much focused on SpongeBob now in which I think they should’ve ended it after SpongeBob creator Stephen Hillenburg died.
Basically, now Cartoon Network and Disney XD are airing content based on quality over quantity. Nickelodeon is basically doing it for quantity over quality.
Even back then Nickelodeon was airing based quality over quantity with shows like Avatar: The Last Airbender, Rugrats, Jimmy Neutron, My Life As a Teenage Robot, The Fairly OddParents, all shows that had good premises
Cuz it is? Besides adventure time fit much better into cn where they do serious shit all the time and honestly if it was on nick it wouldnt have lasted as long as it did on cn and the spinoff wouldnt even exist, disney xd has become a mess and cn is dead which leaves only nick and netflix, not to mention nick is well trained in mean spirited shows like loud house and spongebob, it honestly was a wise choice to have fanboy and chum chum in nick instead of adventure time and i wouldnt have it any other way, cn can handle really complex stories like adventure time's better anyways, and honestly it is a bit dark for young viewers while fanboy and chum chum is the perfect randomness and fun for kids and it fit much better in nick than adventure time, with shows like teen titans and many others on cn adventure really had and took its time to rise on cn

Well, this is a good thing. Since they'd do what they did to Welcome to the Wayne, by screwing with airtimes, or just what they do to most shows. Cancelling it the second it doesn't immediately match up to their most viewed TV show that's been on the air for more than 25 years.
