This is what I imagine they do in the Gundam Build Fighters universe.
It's implied that the more heart and customization you put into your gunpla the more powerful it is in battle, so a guy being this inventive would in turn have a very powerful one.
@@andrewowens4421 Yeah. But it's not the case for Sei though, at first. His afraid to break his gunpla, so letting someone who can pilot for him help him, he overcome it though. Love and dedication is half of the fight

I can totally see this one as a "Zaku Heavy Variant" modification done by an overenthusiastic field tech group.
For their Commander who always takes good care of his/her crew, a proof of their appreciation.
I don’t build Gundams(yet), but I have no regret watching your build videos! They are well produced and relaxing to watch.
You should get into the hobby it’s really fun but just be careful to not fall down the rabbit hole and get addicted like most of us

I even got an idea for one
Basically it's a Zaku that was upgraded/modified into a Gundam using parts from both sides, but it's not a perfect conversion, it still has the Zaku's mono eye as well as some other parts left over from the original Zaku

@@gamehopper2101 I wonder if it was super glue and bicarbonate soda in a bottle. I suspect the spray used is an accelator for super glue which would leave the gaps filled with bicarb.

I think it’s clay since many people normally use it to fill in spots
Edit: I saw other people’s post about it’s not clay it’s stickytack
It's super glue (CA glue) and he's spraying an accelerator on it to speed up drying. Super useful stuff if your into kitbashing and scratch building.

Great design, will definitely buy it if Bandai makes it! I feel that it would make more sense if the extra arm is attached to the backpack. This will free up the arm to do more dynamic poses with the arm in other positions:)

Incredible! I feel like I've learned alot just by watching this. I expect you must be a professional just from how you drill holes.
I know there are many gunpla yt channels, but this one is my favorite.
The sheer level of creativity in this is amazing, I would’ve never though to have a third arm like that but that’s insane. Still feel like painting it up in a more unique color scheme, like it’s some ace pilots custom would’ve made it stand out more but still, I could never make something as sick looking as this
I kind of wish the modern seriesbrought back this iconic zaff designs as well as the 7x series

That's so amazing. Such an outstanding work. Hey, Ray, I think the decals while they look amazing, you should seal them with a matt varnish. I was surprised that you applied the decals on a matt surface and with no decal fixer! On the finished result, I can see a bit of 'gloss' from the decal material, so they stand out if light reflects off of them.
Simple modification a with a professional touch of presentation!
Now others may be able to implement some techniques shown here with ease since it is very clear cut.
You are really good! If you would insert leds powered by watch batteries inside your creations, they would be even more beautiful.

its a mix of super glue and baby power basicaly. Some japaniese and chinese brands have this premixed for you to use.

I mean that's what we get in Gundam build Fighters and Gundam build divers. Sure it may not be the same as what you were thinking but it is similar enough.
hi, what glue are u using and the spray that comes after it? also what clay are u using for the sculpt?
how difficult would it be to make a custom from scratch, I would love to see a custom of MS-13 Gasshia/Gatsha as no model kit exists, it is basically a space superiority Z'Gok but aside from the arms there is really not that much similar so making a custom would be really hard
Zaku 2 F2:
A newly made and upgraded version of the Zaku 2, it has more armour and firepower which improves both the Zaku’s strength and power. Tests have proved that the Zaku 2 F2 is properly used in space and land operations.
However, its speed and maneuverability has gone down, which is a small disadvantage to the pilot.

With a sufficiently ridiculous and bright color scheme, this could totally be a Build Fighters custom. Heck, without the extra arm, it could be a plausible Zaku variant from the later parts of the One Year War. Fantastic work on this kit, I’m sure just working with scrap parts must have been interesting!

If someone from the development team of Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2 was watching this, pls add that version of a MS like that and put in either General or Support cause yeah looks like a General or Support MS that could be a bit OP but I guess some downside to make it not so OP is making it overheat easily when using the thrusters to much, and then also make the big fist have a only one hit, but then wait 10 seconds cooldown and idk for the rest but yeah probably might be a good MS for the game on PS4 and other platforms the game is on

If no one else is going to do it I'm going to give this zaku II the title zaku II heavyarms High Mobility type. Also known as zaku II Ray custom.
I know this has probably been asked all over the internet but what the hell is that Liquid Putty/plastic hes using and if its not available... has anyone found a good alternative? @2:44
with all of my research I know its a chinese product... and I cant seem to get a consensuses on if Mr. Dissolved Putty or Vallejo Plastic Putty are similar... The reason I have my doubts is hes using a setter for it. Which I have no idea if they are safe to use with either of the aforementioned products.

One thing I've always liked about the Zaku s how easily the torso and backpack can be hollowed out to turn them into a battery case for coin cells and a switch to turn on the LEDs.
