For someone who doesn't play Marth that often, LarryLurr is so good at the tech chasing and the spacing. His fundies mesh well with tbis character. Not sure if you were thinking about actually playing him seriously but I wouldn't be against it. Imagine Falco & Marth lol that'd be sick.
He plays wolf, that's who the tech chasing is from. He can tech chase with footstool up-b, and two-frame with down-smash.

It’s 2023 - we aren’t in 2019 when Marth was just “less consistent Lucina” anymore. The meta and characters have developed in ways that benefit Marth (optimal punish game being overly important, slingshots for even better safety and spacing etc).
Marth always has in every game, and always will get better with time. That’s the sort of character he is. He’s good. The only thing stopping people is his general difficulty compared to Lucina.
Honestly I remember being pretty surprised when people were calling Marth mid in this game for the same reasons people initially thought he was mid in Sm4sh even thought it was obvious he benefited pretty greatly from the universal aerial buffs. It was a, "Have we all collectively learned nothing?" kind of moment lol

@@almazingsk8er Marth was pretty bad at the beginning of Smash 4; he received A LOT of significant buffs over time, eventually making him rise back to Top Tier.
The same happened in Ultimate to a lesser extend: He was heavily nerfed initially, but was improved moderately through patches buffs. Wasn’t quite enough to bring up to Top Tier again though.
@@MerryBlind I think the buffs did make him top tier. People just didn't optimize him as quickly. He still has a ton of unexplored tech.

People who told you that have no idea what they’re talking about. Marth has many flaws but tech chasing potential is not one of them.
as a marth main, marth techchasing can be tricky.
because the tippers have more hitlag you have more time to react to tech chases. good players will never whiff a tech from tippers. you can set up tech chases with sour spots tho
@@nemil238 You can still punish what they do though. Marth has the ground speed for that.

Marth is *broken.*
Insane frame data, speed, edgeguarding, recovery, neutral etc. Kills at 50%. Consistent side-b kills at 80%.
He beats Joker. He beats Wolf. He beats Diddy. He beats Zero Suit Samus. He beats Steve. He beats Fox. He beats Palutena. He beats Peach. He beats Pacman. He beats Mario. He beats Kazuya. He beats Game and Watch. He beats Shulk. He beats Roy. He beats Cloud. He DESTROYS Min Min. And to top it all off, he's at _least,_ at LEAST even with Pikachu and Sonic.
Seriously, he plays so well into ALL of the current meta threats, yet nobody plays him. I genuinely believe the only reason he isn't top 10 is because he's one of the most difficult, technically challenging characters in the entire game.. without a doubt the most slept on sword in Ultimate.
Just a phenomenal character overall tbh.
