I got to meet Jack Lambert. He’s a good friend of my buddies dad and he was at his wedding. Really nice guy! He even signed a football for my son.
I never got to meet jack lambert, but I know his daughter Elizabeth. She’s a really nice girl, and she has said he was a completely different person than he is on the football field

A coach that battled cancer at the beginning of the season, a third string QB that rose from the dead, and having to endure an egotistical, male chauvinist, tyrant of an owner, we needed something good to happen in our dismal season (Well, besides beating Dallas twice, TWICE). I say the Pittsburgh Steelers are heroes, falling on the sword so the remaining 1,782 die hard Warshington fans could have something to smile about this Christmas season. Your sacrifice of a perfect season for our happiness is duly noted! May God bless you all, and to all a good night, or afternoon, or whenever the NFL decides it is.

Being a 40 year Steelers fan, I can say I whole heartedly expected this to happen. It had all the ingredients. A game against a bad opponent, at home, a chance to clinch a playoff spot, and a chance to keep a division rival at arms length.. BANG, a trap game loss special.

I ALMOST didn't even want to watch this that game hurt so much - announcers not knowing names, refs messing up plays for both teams, just awful football, heck even whoever was in charge of the onscreen graphics forgetting who had the ball/got the flag/called a time out! But I did anyway because I knew as always that it would manage to make me smile and laugh as only PD can after such a game. Was not disappointed. :)
