Traffic was smooth, the road was clean and organised- the favorite part for me was passing through the historical building with beautiful architecture, like that pointy gothic style church and at the end the old tram is soooo cute!

Another good video. @ 2:30 left. The Tysons Reef Hotel. Our favorite hotel for counter meals when in Bendigo. Very good meals and a nice rear garden to sit with your dogs.

Glad you enjoyed it. Might have to keep that hotel in mind for the future when I am in town and looking for somewhere to eat 🙂👍

It is nice that Bendigo has the the longest surviving tram ling in country cities, Ballarat has a very small bit of the lake circuit, and Geelong has nothing left of their tram network .

It is nice to see and good that it is there for all to experience. Pity there is not more in Ballarat also.

I’ve always said the greatest tourist tram route would be if in Ballarat they installed a complete loop of the lake. Very doable. But not sure if they are interested: Seen happy with the short track. My concern is as the young grow up (different generation and expectation) a short stretch of track won’t keep their interest and it will wither compared to places like Bendigo with a longer journey.

@@xr6lad it would be nice to see Ballarat get behind the possibilities of the tram, maybe down to Sovereign Hill?

Very nice, looks like a Wednesday as I saw my car parked at the Tennis Centre. Very light traffic, much less than when I'm driving.

I know I was surprised at the lack of cars on some of those roads. Specially at the start.

6:56 That Ampol station at left selling unleaded petrol for just $1.79(9)...... I'm jealous! Up here in Port Stephens the average price is(at time of writing this) $1.91(7)! (I wrote the fraction of a cent in brackets).
