PREGNANT LADY DIES DUE TO LACK OF DOCTORS ON DUTY IN DIMAPUR DISTRICT HOSPITAL

- In an awful incident, A 24 year old pregnant lady identified as Mrs. Elika Zhimo lost her life along with her unborn child on October 9 due to lack of doctors in Dimapur District Hospital. The deceased's husband alleged that the District Hospital Administration was responsible for her death and informed that there were no doctors available at that moment to attend to his pregnant wife. He further informed that even after informing the Doctors no one showed up and only after the death of the lady at around 3:25 in the morning the doctors came. Doctors reportedly performed an operation on his dead wife and delivered the child but unfortunately later the infant was also declared dead. The husband appealed to the concern management to look after to this matter

I have a baby in CIHSR (referral hospital) for almost 3 years where she became blind, deaf and bed ridden due to gross medical negligence and yet to be discharge. I will fight untill my daughter gets justice. I will never blame GOD for the wrongs that men committed against my child.

Rip ❤😢, just last month my wife gave birth to our first child and when I took her to the Dimapur civil hospital one of the nurses there shouted like anything to my wife while they were delivering my child and my wife was in so much pain and couldn't move and talk just screaming and the nurse there shouted and told her in anger to move to do that and even told my wife " cant you move ,cant you lay on the bed properly , move your legs ,move your hand cant you even do that ,don't you have strength , are you a child " those were the harsh words she was shouted at when she was delivering in pain but my wife just stayed patient and I didn't know cause I was outside waiting and she told me later after she delivered and came out and I got so angry but didn't do anything instead I just left it in the hands of god and karma to judge her , I just said told my wife that she too she is a female and one day she will know how much pain and struggle a woman feels when delivering a child. Dimapur civil hospital will never change I just don't know what is worse the nurses' and helpers and doctors or the facility there, the nurses that treated my wife were so rough both in handling a patient and in words .
Take strict action and give sukha discharge those arrogent nurses. Even in my eye I have seen bad attitude nurses in district hospital dimapur. Arrest them, suspend them, give sukha discharge.
And some govt doctor's and nurse attitude is just unacceptable.High time to remember that they are call to serve the public not to boss around
Doctors & nurses on duty are lucky enough since Nagaland is Christin state.If such thing happens in non Christian states doctos & nurses on duty will never be spared by public.

At this present scenario, its very rare that a woman dies during delivery. Its a sheer neglegence on the part of doctors and nurses. Dimapurian please we need to fight for justice.
Terminate all those doctors and nurses on duty on grounds of medical negligence and dereliction of duty. Many a times, we dont file any complaints against medical professionals in Nagaland and forgives them, but because of that, these people are crossing the limits now.

District hospital Dimapur is always like this Doctors and nurses will not come on time so my concern is the nurse incharge or any incharge should be in the station 24×7 shift wise and one cannot leave his/her work before the next incharge comes if not we will be hearing this kind of sad and unwanted news everytime

we consider doctor n nurse like second God why they are not taking serious.feel pity on husband.
In a small Town also 3 or 4 Doctors are there. So I think in Dimapur Civil Hospital Doctors will be more than 20 Doctors and Nurse staff will be 50-60. In my views, It's better to take an interview them live in youtube channel.
