I love the cphp for plinking and all small game hunting. Puts food on the table for cheap. They also take groundhogs and racoon with ease. For coyote I absolutely love the H&N hornets. The hornets are beasts when it comes to penetrating thicker skulls.
I prefer the GAMO ROCKET for my GAMO SWARM WHISPER .22 but I also like the Crosman Premier Domed and Premier Hollow Point both in 14.3 and they are all very accurate and pack a punch on small game.
Thanks J, your followers should know if they overlook the H&N Baracuda Match Domed they will be missing out on a damn good pellet. With it's pointed Dome shape and strong weight at 21.14 grain it is an accurate assassin. My pick for the best hunting Pellet is the H&N Hunter (not Hunter Extreme) it performs well on all levels and have tremendous expansion rate on impact.
I don't think pellet types matters. When it make contact with any animals, they will drop. I prefer the 18.13 jsb cause they are more accurate. Accuracy is your friend.
My favorite in .22 would be the Crosman premier HP and pointed and the H&N Hornets. The Crosman premier hollowpoints are the best economical pellet in my opinion. Perfect for hunting and plinking. And the H&N hornets are just devastating on anything. I’d not want to be on the business end of a hornet.
I only have exp with the Polymag in my 16fpe .177 break barrel, and I found they start flying funny over about 30 or 40 yards. But in my .22 gamo magnum, the H&N Hornet shoots as well as any good domed pellet I have used, and it is a 100 yard pellet. I was surprised. For small game head shots, that is hard to beat over 60 yards IMO. You hit it, you get it, even to 100 yards.
My benji xl and crossman titan np love the crossman hp for high volume plinking out to 65 yrds, the polymag for crows and squirrels etc.... then the jsb 14.8 gr for anything and everything where accuracy is of highest priority.
Crosman premier hollowpoints and pointed are my first choice for small game hunting and pest control on raccoon and groundhog at shorter ranges around 30 yards. I personally also love the H&N hornets as well, I think the hornets in .22 and over 20fpe could drop a coyote within 20-30 yards.
The polymer tip pellets tumble in the first inch of penetration so they do more tissue damage in small critters. They end up going backward through gel targets Penetration is not as deep but good enough for small game.
take both jsb n crossman off, those H&N terminator, hornet, hunter, or there 21g pellet, eugen pellets hard lead pellets that dump alot of energy on game...thise jsb have a soft led, not that u can't use them but 4 me there last when it comes to hunting unless it's there 33g, 44g 50g or 81g..those gamo red fire pellets are awesome ....good video
You missed the crow magnums. I put them right up with the poly mags and terminators. The heavy jumbos work great for head shots only or expect runners. They do not expand unless major bone is hit.

The H&M seem just fine and hit hard, but for this gun, I thought something lighter (it's a critter gun 20-30 yards) would get out of the barrel faster and help accuracy.
I would swap 4 of the pellets shown on this video with the Benjamin Hunting hollow points pellets. The two runner up for me are the JSB diabolo heavy and the Benjamin Hunting hollow points. My guns shoots them extremely well.
Very good video, I don't care if the pellet is not a hollow point, because I shoot for hunting the most accurate pellet in my .22 Beeman Kodiak rifle, that pellet is the H&N Baracuda Match, 21,14 gr

Airgun Depot (EDITED because "NEW LADY" video hit numbers.) I agree with Kurt J. on reviewing some of the other pellets available from your store. Maybe if you would review the manufacturers line of pellets against each other using their own guns. The Manufactures would love the exposure for both rifles and ammo. With the "New lady" as the star because everyone likes her videos, Travis shoots groupings(at least 5 shots) on targets("yardage marked at as long range as possible maybe 30 and 60 yards) to back up the results. I'm thinking for each comparison Travis shoots one break barrel gun and one PCP rifle and combine the results "unless new lady can shot better than Travis". Not all of us can or will spend $500 - $2000 for our air rifles + more $$$ for PCP fill sources when real rifles cost the same or less. So how about using Gamo rifles (identify rifles used) for the Top 5 Gamo pellets in .177 and .22: Crosman or Benjamin rifles for the Top 5 Crosman pellets in .177 and .22. The Top 5 JSB and H&N use the high end FX PCP rifles and RWS, Beeman. But don't forget UMarex rifles. In the end how about the Top 5 green (Lead free) pellets to finish it off. I think your manufacturers would love it and you will have great exposure across all demographics for your customers. What do you think?
This is a very good suggestion. It may be more testing than we could fit into a Top 5 format, but we'll keep it in mind and see how we might be able to incorporate some of these ideas.
Please, review the Gamo line of pellets. Where I live, it's very hard to get any of your Top 5 choices (especially rare are the H&N). Gamo pellets, on the other hand, are cheaper and easier to find. Rockets, TS-22 and Red Fire would be my best choices. Thanks!
Kurt J The Red Fire from Gamo are great out of my Benjamin Trail NP2 out to 40 yards. I can get them a lot cheaper ($5.99) than the Poly mags. Five shot groups of under an inch in light winds. Awesome pellet
Gman Neo'd. Thanks, I agree, great pellet. I've shot them mostly with Gamo rifles. But when shooting Rockets with the more powerful Hatsan 125 sniper, the performance on certain targets is devastating. They make it through an 1 inch pine board☺
I tested the .22 cal H&N terminators the last couple of days in my rifle and pistol. They shoot tighter than the poly mags in both firearms, hit harder, and DRT better compared to the poly mags by far. Big “pop” when hitting varmints and a dime to quarter size exit hole or bigger is common. They definitely shoot tighter then the hades in my guns as well. The “hades” hype of grouping as tight as the 18.1 JSBs are BS. My old grey label can of JSBs 18.1 gr heavy jumbo pellets will shoot five shots all in one hole equivalent to the size of a pencil eraser at 25 yards. The hades shoot way over an inch in both of my same guns. JSB quality has gone way down with the red label pellets and hades. My old RS pellets from 10 years ago shoot almost as tight as the old heavy jumbos...the new RS are all over the place as well. There is finning all over every skirt. The old JSBs look perfect. I think quality left when the original own sold out. Pretty sad. I won’t be wasting my money on JSB pellets anymore because they do not group like they use to and the build quality has gone out the window. $4 diasy and Crosman pellets from Walmart group better and more consistent than a $20 tin of JSB.
H&N baracuda hunter extreme are better... for me, 2 optiones: 1. 30 meters or less H&N Hornets. 2. More than 30 meters H&N Baracuda hunter extreme. These are the best hunting pellet in the market.
polymag are the worst pellet i have ever used except for wasp, and think i would buy wasp before these, but hades expand quite nicely and would choose them over all shown here
For the 2 guns I have, (.30 and .177 break barrels), they seem good to about 35 yards, then start flying funny. I sight my guns in at 35 yards, and shoot to at least 70.
No. H&N and JSB are 2 different companies. I have both pellets in front of me now. The H&N is 2.6gr heavier than the JSB Hades, but they do look very close in the rest of the size and shape. Length looks the same. I have not shot them yet, but it looks to me the heavier H&N may expand better, but I bet the performance is very close for these good quality pellets.
I just bought the same gun and have so far only shot about 50 rounds through it, but it LOVES Crosman Premium Hollow Points. Although, in fairness, that's all I've shot through it so far. I haven't shot much of anything in years and I'm 60+ years old, but I managed to shoot several groups a little bigger than quarter size, standing and shooting free-hand with open sights from about 20-25 yards. And the pellets tore through my 1/4" plywood. Not tack driving, but that's my fault, not the gun or pellet. From a bench and using a scope, I can imagine much better groups. Again, there may be much better pellets out there, but my gun likes the Crosman, and I got four tins for just over $6 each. Hard to beat that.
@@puffyd58 use rws super point extra. Rws round. Benjamin hp which is the same as what your using now jus refined I think. Umm the Gamo hunter pellets and match wadcutters from Gamo also work really great. Nice tight grouping
I am surprised because for hunting pellets the three best ones that I have shout out of all of my guns would be the jsb 15.89 the predator polymag but the one that nobody seems to talk much about is the H and N Barracuda Hunter it is a more accurate pellet than the h&n baracuda extreme and it is more accurate then the h&n crow Magnum pellet and all I can say is God that woman is sexy
@RyanJL337 The terminators sounds like a snap cap to a fire cracker “pop” when they hit game. The rockets don’t even compare to the shock or damage. I’ve shot a lot of rabbits during the last couple of small game seasons with the rockets. Body shots and they run. Not with the terminators. Order some off ebay. I took some squirrels last hunting season with the terminators. The skulls fell apart when cleaning and looked like a grenade went off inside of them. All pellets exited with my Walther talon nitro piston which is as or more powerful than your swarm. Once in a while a pice of the fragmented pellet would stay inside the hide with body shots.
Out to 50 yards the Daisy Hollow Points that are now made in Spain with Gamo’s help and I think are the base pellet for the Red Fire, make a sound so satisfying when they hit and mushroom to almost 35 caliber. Weighing only 15.4 grains they like speeds up to 920 FPS and for more weight the H&N Barracuda Hunters at least in my guns are more accurate-than the hunter extremes, and expand equally almost to the Daisy HPs. IMHO In the end though it really does boil down to shot placement and there isn’t a magic pellet.
@@heathhalfhill6867 you obviously haven’t tried the terminators. Tried all your pellets you boasted about on feathers and fur and there is no comparison. Close counts with the terminators.
H@N 21.14 grain @ 900+ fps are excellent accuracy and long range energy 👌 I like the Crosman 14.3 grain premier hp @ 900 - 1000 fps do a great job on tree 🌳 rats or squirrels . ect.
Tje big 25gr. JSB is absolutely terrible in my Gamo mag .22 Gen 2 swarm mag. I shoot a springer very well, and 1 " groups are pretty easy even over 65 yards to me. But not this pellet. 35 yard 6 shot group is over a 6" group, an other than 2 of them going into the same hole, the others were all over the place. This must be a PCP pellet. It does not fly well out of my break barrel mag springer at all. The next pellet in the mag after a shot, is also jumping out of the magazine about 3mm high over the plastic mag cylinder, and has to be pushed down to cock the next shot. That gamo shoots lots of pellets very very well. If you have a springer, I would stay away from that 25gr. pellet.

H&N baracuda hunter extreme are better... for me, 2 optiones: 1. 30 meters or less H&N Hornets. 2. More than 30 meters H&N Baracuda hunter extreme. These are the best hunting pellet in the market.
Think polymags are 16gr in .22 right?
Yes, that was an unfortunate mixup with the GTOs.
I'd buy anything she suggests:-)
Using the Diablo myself
You must of forgotten 23 grain hollow point Nielsen slugs (pellet)?
Always hard to narrow down the list!
Those are slugs not pellets. You even said it yourself?
polymag are the worst pellet i have ever used except for wasp, and think i would buy wasp before these, but hades expand quite nicely and would choose them over all shown here
For the 2 guns I have, (.30 and .177 break barrels), they seem good to about 35 yards, then start flying funny. I sight my guns in at 35 yards, and shoot to at least 70.
Hey number 2 is a JSB Hades hunting pellt ?
Looks like Hades pellets...
What pellets are good for the gamo swarm fusion 10x gen2 I need help
Sorry if I’m to late but jsb hades and almost any crossman pellets.
Body language sold me alone!
Gammo Redfire for the win!
Hell no
I'm in love
Nice
The crosman destroyer are better then all of those pellets
I am surprised because for hunting pellets the three best ones that I have shout out of all of my guns would be the jsb 15.89 the predator polymag but the one that nobody seems to talk much about is the H and N Barracuda Hunter it is a more accurate pellet than the h&n baracuda extreme and it is more accurate then the h&n crow Magnum pellet and all I can say is God that woman is sexy
I agree on the last part
Don I was just getting ready to write pretty much the same post. The Baracuda Hunter is waaay better than the hunter extremes out of all of my guns.
Jsb Hades
The H&N terminators cause more damage and instant death vs any other pellet on the market.
JSB 1.175 Jumbo Heavy number 1 !!!!!! ☝️☝️☝️
If you have a springer, I would stay away from that 25gr. pellet.
Thats a good list, but let's be honest, the Crossman suck, lol.
I think i just found my new favorite channel. VaVavavoom
The presenter is a little corny but easy on the eyes.
Define "Corny", because I have no idea what you are talking about,----and I bet you don't either. :)
Just one of those words that have a different meaning in everybody's mind. Politics lives on stuff like that too, by the way, and it is dangerous.
did anyone have a hard time paying attention to the top five pellets? lol

H&N Hornets > JSB Predator Polymag
To bad they are biased they don't even consider slugs. Sorry totally one sided.
This was about pellets...if it were about slugs...I'm sure that would be in the title, it's not really that hard but try to keep up with the program, there goober!
With no mention of what these should be used to hunt, the list seems almost worthless.
Obviously small game lol
They're for your next big game hunt in Africa?! WTF do you think they're good for? Use your brain for heaven sakes! How much hand holding do you need? Think for yourself.
.177 best.
