Growing up Gary Sheffield is my favorite player. I started watching him in 99. When you went to the braves I was upset at first but then I realized I could go from watching maybe 15 to 20 of his games a year to almost all of them because the braves were on TBS. But I hated the Yankees so I was really upset when he went there. I wanted to see him when another world series and I watched any game I could but it wasn't like when he was on the braves watching everyday and watching a team I like. But I remember specifically being at the sports bar and grill on Bay pines in St Pete Florida and I was up there watching WrestleMania with my friends and I remember Randy Orton was wrestling The undertaker and Gary Sheffield was hitting at the same time. In my head the memory goes that Sheffield hit a homerun but when I looked at the box score he only hit a double that day. So it must have just been that I was watching my favorite player bat and watching my favorite wrestler wrestle at the same exact time. That was a good night

I would say 2005 was definitely his last good season. After that he definitely fell off. However he did go 5-0 against boston which helped.
