Good day, hey know how or where I can buy the Nato adapter you used to connect the remote handle to the bar ? I can't find that adapter anywhere, please help, thanks.
That nato adapter came with the remote handle. If you are missing that item I would call tilta and ask for - Advanced Ring Grip Handle Attachment (TGA-ARG-HA). There are three types (Type I, Type II, and type III) from what I can see. I don't know which one is which, but I'm sure they will. Phone numbaer is (818) 561-4991 I hope this helps
@@VidHeadzcopy thank you, that model number I needed. I bought the advance ring grip when I first came out and it def did not have any of those adapters lol. Just sent Tilta sales an email, thanks again
With this remote working through the RS 2 Gimbal I can control focus with auto focus lenses. One cable plugs into my camera and then the other end into the gimbal. I can start and stop record as well. It can also control the Nucleus Nano follow focus motor. You can switch back and forth with the switch on the remote handle.
Hi :) Wondering if you can confirm that the dial at the back of the remote can also mimic what the one on the RS2/3 does (ie you can choose it to be zoom / ISO, etc) ? That's the one thing I can't work out, and I don't want to purchase something that doesn't do what I think it does (I have asked Tilta but I'm not sure they understood the question)
I can't say with certainty, but I believe this is possible. In the RS2 you assign the rs2 dial to zoom instead of focus. Then the remote handle will mimic this function.
Yes in theory, because the RS2 focus motor is getting direction from the gimbal. The remote handle controls the gimbal. I can't say for absolute certainty because I have not tried it as of yet. But I would say that I'm 90% sure this is the case.
@@ozzmanzz no problem brother, I know what it is like trying to get answers before making a purchase. I'm always trying to fine tune my gear and need those little details as well to try and make my shooting experience as efficient as possible
@@VidHeadz Are you shure? cause I found in the site says you need The Dual Handle Power Supply Bracket Also battery for it to support rs3. I also found rs3 pro and rs2 battery are slots are the same. but not rs3 sadly :( just try first before you buy rs3 and let me know I willl be so thankful.

@@VidHeadz Hey thanks for sharing. yeah remote is working for both but power thing that you attached in the middle is not supporting by rs3 I think. cause I couldn't find and states about it. Cause batteries are not the same with rs2. I was asking that actually.
@volkanyldz5873 I'm sorry about that. Right now the listing is all I have to go on. I didn't purchase the RS3 yet. However, I also purchased the Smallrig Remote Handle as well and it states it works for both RS2 and RS3. You can find it here if you are interested - smallrig.com/smallrig-wireless-control-sling-handgrip-for-dji-rs-series-3919.html
It will be the same as the normal function when manually dialing in with the gimbal. It is just an extension of the dial on the gimbal. Hope this helps you.
Hey can I ask you to test something for me Without the gimble connected, just with the nucleus nano if you hit record dose the display on the moter switch from stby to rec? Also can you auto calibrate & go into A-B mode with this handle, I accidentally fryed my hand controller yesterday & just figuring out my options ☺️
Hey brother, I guess I'm not familiar with the lock mode on the RS2. I do know that the handle allows you to switch between the operating modes M1, M2, & M3 on the gimbal. As you know, you can set these modes how ever you want individually and fine tune them to operate the way you want. I will have to check into the lock mode and then get back with you.
No, the remote handle works through the gimbal. But tilta sells handles that work with the Nucleus Nano for hand held setup. They call them side handles. They also have a advance side handle as well.
If I understand the question correctly, the front wheel only controls the focus or zoom depending on which one is selected in the menu setting on the gimbal. The joystick controls up and down movements on the gimbal.
I'm not exactly sure. My guess is yes it will. I'm grabbing a RS3 shortly so I will be able to tell you for sure. I also have the Smallrig version of this remote as well. So I'll pretty much counting on It working with the RS3.
Im sorry I dont but you can download the manual here and it does talk about the menu tilta.com/shop/dual-channel-wireless-lens-control-handle-for-advanced-ring-grip/
@@dkrasnopolski Wow, I never gave that a thought. Did you try calling tilta and seeing what the solution would be? They are pretty good at customer service and trying to remedy issues. I used to call quite a bit for different things to get resolutions.
Can this handle single press for active track w raven eye to frame up subject as rs2 control does when set to active track then single click the trigger? Thank You
Nice video as always my brother. If you can attach those handles to a shoulder rig you'll have a traditional EFP/ENG style shooting setup which is really functional for remote focusing manual lenses.
Thank you my brother, yes I'm looking at the the remote handle side ways to see how I can incorporate it in different configurations myself. My first thought is to use it as a separate off camera focus pulling with an external monitor attached to it while using the RS2. Becomes very functional in this case where you can control the gimbal and focus when you are across the room.
Hey man great video!! Question , I see people complaining about the side attachments getting loose and jus slipping off? and also , the base where the Rs2 rests on the titla handle, is it stable.....because the Tilta advance handle base, is very loose, resulting in tons of micro jitters....your taughts ?
I heard those things as well. After I bought the unit and waiting for it to show up I looked around for some informatuon and I found one vid that had those claims and it Got me scared 😱. But I have to say after receiving and using it I have no issues with it at all. It works as it is suppose to. So I'm not sure if it is a quality control issue but mine works just fine. I'm so sorry I mixed up the video and my answer was pertaining to another side handle. Concerning your question I do recommend the dual Handle, but I also like the ring. I bought the basic ring since I already had the remote handle. I love the ring and prefer it but the bull handle is better on the shoots where I don't want to be as noticeable. I also bought the small rig remote for the gimbal and I plan to post a review. I bought because I use the remote handle in the sling mode as the back handle and it is not made to support the weight of the whole gimbal plaus camera. The small rig remote was made for that very task.
