I've watched all your videos.....now I go back and watch my favorites.... lol, its almost a zen calming deal to listen to you talk so freely about how you get the job done. Its nice to trust someone's experience.
I agree 100%!. I am dealing with a 20K job aftermath in our yard (drive, pad for the cars and such) where concrete overlap/over spread is EVERYWHERE. Like I explained to my wife that has to be controlled and removed during the pour before it sets (sponge and a bucket of water while the concrete is wet) or you have what we have. Now the removal of excess is with wire brushes and a disk sander. Labor intensive and requires touch up with a surfacer ($$$$) to restore a decent appearance. Wow I have learned so much that I wish I had known back in June of this year when I hired my work to be done. Great Job!!
Super clean, excellent work! A true professional that captures the whole pictures with videos and doesn’t hide anything. Forget about all those haters, they have no clue about SoCal concrete work.
Odell Complete Concrete been a union Concrete Finisher for 26 years and you can tell when you are a good finisher when you are peers tell you that you are a good finisher as well and let me tell you what you and your crew are top-shelf brother keep up the great work only a top shelf finisher such as yourself could ever do a product like that I have seen some other guys on here that we're fucking straight garbage brother they could make a pimple on your ass
Odell Complete Concrete hey man I know this video is from last year but just wondering does it matter if you mix the color in at the plant or can you just add the color after you are done pouring the concrete hope to hear from you soon
I love this, I live in northern Michigan and I was wondering how does this hold up in a colder climate where you have to salt and sand? Also how long do you have to wait before you start using the stamps on the concrete?
how soon after the pour do you start the stamping process? Also, if the area to be stamped is around 1000 sf, do you recommend pouring all and then stamp or do by sections? Thank you.
nice job dave.i think with all the pipes and drains your always having to deal with that you've earned the title 'Odell Complete Concrete and Irrigation Systems'.😃Question:was cutting out and replacing the band that settled a an option?pouring one solid matching band, eliminating the extra drain, and taking care of the 1/4 inch dip to make it all flush.would be worth mixing a few extra bags seems like.
there you go.thats a better idea.then you could do some of them concrete borders that I've seen people have done around there landscaping.faily easy to do with the machine.seen em done with different colors and stamped finishes.you know what im talking about.that would be awesome! i would definitely subscribe to that.
what a very great job Mr 👊👊 but!! no was wearing dust mask what so ever that is a health and safety issue brother. But all and all it came out great can wait to see the other video's.
Hi mate just a quick question in the video i see you add the colour harder then float it then add again then float it the third colour you add is different as you were going for a 2 tone texture if I just want the same colour do I just repeat the same colour again before stamping ? Thanks
Hi Dave my dad is a concretor in Australia and I work with him and he does stamp concrete but I have never seen any one as good as u and my dad do stamp Keep up the good work
How is it in colder climate? I'm a Norwegian subscriber and start now to think maybe make a concrete patio instead of wood that normally we do here in Norway. Does the concrete crak easier in colder climate??
I think in all your videos I've watched I have yet to see you use a sub grade layer of 57 or something. Just something I noticed and I was wondering If that is a geographical thing or what. I know someone asked if you get ice and snow and you said no just rain. Is that why? I really appreciate all the great informational videos BTW.
Hi Mate. Just a quick question which some of the other guys may be wondering with your prep work. When you excavate the soil do you charge the customer an hourly rate + tip fees + your margin or do you charge this in with your concrete rate or another method? Cheers Jerry
I saw several videos you made. Great stuff, great job, very detailed in planning and executing. What is your average cost per yard for concreting the driveway with rebars? I'm located in Sacramento, need to do about 80 yards (perimeter all around the house). Thanks
If $5/quare with demo and complete everything, that's a great price. Question on the Fibermesh you put in the concrete mix. I saw in one video that you put in the fibers when the truck came. What fibermesh do you buy? brand, price, quantity per yard? Or do you just order the concrete with fibermesh?
Where do I buy the color hardener? Or is release agent the same thing? Doing my own cobblestone stamp, but watching as much video as I can before starting.
i got a Question for ya Mr. Odell im looking to color a 32x48 pole barn the manufacture calls for 50pds/100 foot . Do i have to do that much a 50 pds buckets is gonna cost me 98 buck. With the square footage that building should cost me 2,600 and some change. is this right? aslo im gonna go with the LITHOCHROME Color Hardener
Why do you pour your bands separate? I wet cut my bands and boarders and use painters plastic to separate my cast on colors. or just stain it later. one pour. I do broom and stamp same time. broom and top cast same time. 2 stamps 2 colors same time. saves a ton of money.
Odell Complete Concrete only a true finisher would know the craftsmanship involved in the work you do and how you go the extra mile to do stuff the right way not the way some of these other clowns do you could tell someone taught you right
I've watched all your videos.....now I go back and watch my favorites.... lol, its almost a zen calming deal to listen to you talk so freely about how you get the job done. Its nice to trust someone's experience.

Wow!! Amazing stuff.
ahmet comlekcioglu
yes
it's a nice affordable alternative to the basic concrete slab.
odell how do you know when to start throwing your hardener and when to start stamping
I love this, I live in northern Michigan and I was wondering how does this hold up in a colder climate where you have to salt and sand? Also how long do you have to wait before you start using the stamps on the concrete?
Israel Soto
Holds up the same as regular concrete.
With some sealer even better.
2 to 4 hours
amazing work your the best
Thank you!
how soon after the pour do you start the stamping process? Also, if the area to be stamped is around 1000 sf, do you recommend pouring all and then stamp or do by sections? Thank you.
Depends on the help and how many stamps you have
Great work and presentation style.
What method do you prefer, mixing the colour in the concrete or throwing the colour on the top?
WrenchDoozer
color in the truck is much easier, but your limited on the colors you can use.
Odell good job
Dang! That looks good!! You the man!! ( and your boys too!! ) lol

it was an option but it didn't happen.
How about another channel called Odell Complete Landscape.

How long did you wait for the concrete to set before you started the stamping process?
3 hours
How is it in colder climate?
I'm a Norwegian subscriber and start now to think maybe make a concrete patio instead of wood that normally we do here in Norway. Does the concrete crak easier in colder climate??
christoffer1973
check with your local concrete supplier for more local details.
That was pretty good
TY
Your newer videos are a vast improvement over your earlier ones!
So, you recommend the cure rather than try to keep the concrete watered?
On this stamped concrete two tone. You can't do any curing process until the next day. which would most likely be water.
Do you ever work in Sacramento? And what do you generally charge for concrete
Weather and dirt are beautiful here.
Nice job
TY
Looks sweet. Did you put cure seal on it or are you gonna wait 30 days and seal it
Head Assassin
there's no sealer anywhere in the back yard, so I don't believe this will ever get a sealer.
Very nice work,
Please need the stamps to buy, do you sell some?
I wish
looks great

I saw several videos you made. Great stuff, great job, very detailed in planning and executing. What is your average cost per yard for concreting the driveway with rebars? I'm located in Sacramento, need to do about 80 yards (perimeter all around the house). Thanks
Keven Nguyen
Sacramento is out of my jurisdiction
I do know that, therefore, I'm wondering how much you are charging so that I can expect the same quality/price around here.
Keven Nguyen
5 a square
If $5/quare with demo and complete everything, that's a great price.
Question on the Fibermesh you put in the concrete mix. I saw in one video that you put in the fibers when the truck came. What fibermesh do you buy? brand, price, quantity per yard? Or do you just order the concrete with fibermesh?
1 lb. per yard 1.00 a pound online
Where do I buy the color hardener? Or is release agent the same thing? Doing my own cobblestone stamp, but watching as much video as I can before starting.
TY
