Incidentally, it's based on a historical event (Battle of Nagashino). One of the most important and famous events in Japanese history. The tragedy was very real.
Although the plot and visuals were great, it did not meet my expectations towards the end. But it is the movie with the best visual quality after Lawrence of Arabia.
Kurosawa: "I paid for all the colors I'm using all the colors"
Man, the ending of this movie was so good. Another excellent work from the Master Kurosawa!
Goosebumps all over me
It's the most beautiful thing I have watch ever.
Extraordinary film, equally as outstanding as "Ran" another Kurosawa masterpiece..
これはまさに動く美術品。絵巻そのもの。
Nicely edited video. Making me want to watch this film now.
Good to hear thank you
Kurosawa seems to had fun with using the color in the film, and it’s stunning 😂❤
great edit!
This was the first time Kurosawa had done a film in colour so he had a great time experminting with different colours in the film.
He did 3 films in color before this one actually but yes he experimented alot on this one.
Man, I still wished there was a happy ending to this story. But that's how life goes.
Incidentally, it's based on a historical event (Battle of Nagashino). One of the most important and famous events in Japanese history. The tragedy was very real.
Wow! Shown in Manila Asian Film Festival!#

Yes ?

What kind of spin would this master filmmaker put on Lord of the Rings ?
Better than Ran even
In my opinion, it's better than Ran.
Agreed tbh
Because it's based on real history, RAN is based on Shakespeare's epic and so a fictional sengoku period war movie (like game of thrones)
Agree
Difficult to choose
