It was interesting to see how 747-8 and A380s are restricted to certain taxi routes according to the charts since their wingspan is just too wide. I'm imagining rolling along with one of those behemoths no f's given mowing down antennas, floodlights and wingtips of smaller aircraft until the parking brake is set. It's like driving down the freeway alongside roadworks and ramming traffic cones of the markings "plonk plonk plonk plonk plonk..." Hope you reported that "semi" INOP CMD L and C to maintenance after landing. ;P.
I sent that inop item to maintenance but as always I saw it written up as "checks ok" so I guess it'll take a few more write ups before they actually fix it. I like not being able to taxi certain places adds another element of planning. That extra planning kills a whole 5 minutes off a long haul so it helps haha!
