I was in Chicago, mostly to meet Mark. I'd already met Hayden in Dallas last year. I agree, he comes off as one of the coolest, sweetest guys out there. Glad to know he remembered you! As for Mark, I'm with you in how much Luke means to me. He was the first real "hero" I knew of as a kid, and I looked up to him so much. I did the photo op first, and it was a surreal experience seeing him in person. I admit that I play songs when I meet certain celebs, and the song I had while meeting Mark was the SHREK cover of Holding Out For A Hero. He LOVED my energy, and said I had a "zest for life". I told him this later when I did his autograph, that's something I'm taking to the grave! And then, the autograph. He once again said he loved my energy and aura, and I thanked him so much for inspiring me and so many others by showing us what heroes can be (or something like that). THEN, as I was leaving, I overhear him telling the guy running his autos that he loved me. I kid you not, I practically did a double-take on that one. Like, your response upon seeing Hayden in the autograph thing, that was me afterwards. I was in such a state of shock, and I remember taking a few minutes in the little room outside of where he was signing to collect myself before leaving. It was everything I wanted it to be and more, and I'm beyond thankful that I did it.

Fan Expo Chicago was awesome and crazy! We surprisingly met at the end of the night waiting for our rides back to the hotel on Friday haha, it was great moment we chatted for seconds before parting our ways 😅

I used to go to conventions, from 2004 to 2014...but then they became so ridiculously expensive I had to quit. I've also developed some back problems, so spending untold hours in line to meet anyone just ain't happening anymore. If the prices and overall experiences became reasonable again, I'd love to go back...but only God knows if that will happen soon.
So there r smaller cons depending on what you like. For Star Wars theres a con in Tennesse called ICCC thats a better experience for sure than the bigger cons

That amazing experience I’m glad that mark hamill is doing conventions again I was lucky enough to be able to participate in the official pix Mark Hamill private signing and ordered an 8x10 Batman mask of the phantasm joker photo for Mark Hamill to sign with Personalization and the joker character name as well a lifelong dream of mine to get especially to put next my Kevin Conroy autograph my first ever autograph and also I never thought hamill would sign again after 2017 so two appearances in two years is definitely insane it been an incredible experience and journey Hamill joker is the definitive joker in any media in my opinion

Honestly it can be overwhelming i wouldnt do too many. I def bit off more than i could chew i. Chicago. If ur doing hayden and ewan autos and photo op all in one day ull prob spend ur entire day in line. If ur going over 2 or more days i would spread it out. Usually with other actors u can squeeze a few in comfortablly but the big big ones r always long waits so Hayden and Ewan will be long waits BUT worth it!

Autos vary some were $60 all the way up to $500 😳
Hayden was $225 to get the plaque signed.
