There is an amazing amount of work done here. My only real complaint is the crazy amount of fighters coming out of ships. Large fleet battles crawl to a painful slow fps that make space battles unplayable for me.
If the player takes the order 65 route could we maybe get Padme as chancellor instead of Mon Mothma? (Or better yet the ability to choice who you can have as your chancellor would be really nice with each having there different strengths and weaknesses)

Literally discounting all purchases of buildings and units. If u don't know the units ur using ur probably gunna have a hard time playing
I never bothered with the taxation buildables, because I felt bad for the citizenry. 💀 And I ended up paying for it in the end, due to the Seppies completely wiping me off the map.

So if you play as the CIS and accidentally attack a member coorporation-faction, will that faction then become hostile to you and start attacking your worlds? Also I see someone mentioned faction guide-videos, I think that's a great idea! Even if I played the smaller scenario-campaigns first, it is a bit overwhelming to start a new GC-game, especially as the Republic. I'm not asking to have my hand held throughout the whole game, and I like the idea of having to figure it out on the go, but playing this mod is time consuming enough that it is a bit boring to have my whole campaign ruined because I did a few silly mistakes at the beginning. Where should I expand? Where should I build up stuff? Where do I draw back and abandon my territory because its not gonna be possible to hold? What defensive structures are good to build where? These are examples of tips and tricks that would be nice to have in such a guide.

Sooooo, is there any way to fix the super messy UI in the galaxy screen? The text based UI addition in the top left corner covers up part of the planet screen, and personally I find the random "border" lines all over the galactic map really distracting. Is there a solution?

I'm stuck in a deadlock on mine. All the CIS ever does is attack Balmora, Corellia, and Bothawaui. I can't expand any fronts because they always seem to outnumber and outgun me 5:1 and no, cruel AI is not on and never has been on. How am I supposed to get anywhere in this game at this point. I've been hyper addicted to it bur just had a rage quit because the hyper aggressive AI wanted to land 6 MTT and 5 companies of Octuptaras on Balmorra because I'm not allowed to have Jedi heroes anymore apparently gotta make sure they wipe them all out😊
When I play the game, the economy bar is overlaping with the parts/ food list so i can't see my money. Is there a way to fix this? ( bdw great video and love the mod)
Is it fairly simple to add “irregulars” like gun fans and Wookiee as recruitable like for Zann Consortium? If so, how? Also, is there a way to limit how many can be trained/in the field?

If you are on Steam, if the game doesn't re-launch when you enable the mod ingame, or you want to just directly launch into the mod, go to the properties for Empire at War in Steam and paste the following into launch options: STEAMMOD=1976399102 I had to do this for some mods to work.
I'm a TR player and I'm not completely familiar with mods, can I have both TR and FoTR downloaded and installed at the same time. With save files in both?
Not likely. Most of the mod's mechanics aren't supported, inclouding stuff as basic as the ship construction filyters, which means it'd need to basically be redone from scratch despite being a very unstale mode at the best of time. It's not really worth the work.
I play (Star Wars Empire at war) maybe someone would create another development of it with better similarities to that of Planetary antihalation instead of a single space battle and land battle join them together to create a zoomed in and out air and land style play through similar to Supreme Commander because the death star is so big there would be a Super zoom option where u can control the Deathstar and annihilate a planet while we are in a land battle or something or maybe fly a fighter from the ground up to the Deathstar and confront it or maybe select a Capital ship and build a transport with troops and land it in the middle of our land battle if I were rich I would design something like this lol
No, all three progressive starts have era progression. The only way it wouldn't is if you changed the era to era 1 before starting (which is labelled FTGU only)

at the beginning of a game, AI has a lot of ships to throw at you, I would recommend creating sector fleet to defend and punish those early attacks. they usually stop once you annihilated half a dozen fleet

Well, watching this, I can see the mod really isn't for me. It makes GQ way too much like a grand strategy game(I honestly hate GSG's, but I love RTS.) Real shame since the battles themselves actually seem fun and I like their mechanics, but it'd nice to have a "light" version of the mod that doesn't overhaul GQ as much while keeping the battle changes in. RaW is another alternative, I suppose, but all I hear is how FotR is "so much better" and RaW has terrible balance issues which has me reluctant. RIP me I guess lmao.
The galactic map stuff look more intimidating and Comex than they really are maybe try it and see if you like it Also raw is starting development again so that's also cool
Just play the from the ground up mode, it spend you with one planet and allows you to chose how you play with no real “Main objective” other than to conquer.

Games confusing as heck going from the original. It’s too over complicated this isnt an RPG game. Like ship building crews? Get rid of that and go back to the normal building ships for currency

I still can’t figure out why I am randomly losing planets I control with not a single battle taking place. Multiple clone troopers and vehicles stationed on them instantly gone it’s ridiculous. This mod is really trash… it’s turns a really simple fun & easy to play game into a really hard & difficult game, the missions aren’t thought out very well at all not clear what you have to do or where to go, unit building has now become extremely complicated along with building shipyards and generally building anything on your planet, I couldn’t even figure out how to do the research for the venitor I failed to understand how anybody could enjoy this mod what looks to be amazing is actually really overly complicated and not well executed at all all I can say is thank God it was free and I didn’t spend a penny on this disappointment The fact the game is so complicated and there is no dedicated tutorial says it all Did the community really want and really complicated version of Empire at all? Or did we just want an expanded version of the really easy simple to play game?
What do you mean by "unit building is complicated"? Research isn't complicated either. You press the button on the build bar- that's it The flip side of "it's free" is that we don't have to worry about what people do or don't want, we get to make the game that *we* want to play, but considering EaWX are the two most popular mods on the workshop I'd say at least some people did want this, even if it's not what you personally wanted. I like 4X and Grand Strategy games so I incorporate more of those types of mechanics, because I like the impact on game pace and the context it adds for battles. If you like something else you're welcome to make your own mod focusing on that.

They do t become hostile but it lowers your influence with them taking longer to integrate them
I'm assuming that Cruel Ensign is one step harder than regular Admiral, then Cruel Captain is a step above that. Am I right about that?

check your screen ratio and change it till it fixs itself its a common issue

Capital ships are built at planets with either a level 3 or 4 shipyard, indicated by the number near their name.

Yes, you just change which one you launch in the launch options. Neither will interfere within having the other.

Era 1 isn't supposed to be used in the progressive maps, only FTGU. Era 2 is the default start.

so when I play the pre Clone Wars Era on a Large Map, I will not have the evolution to the next era. Am I right?

Again,.if you set the game to era 1 then eras won't progress- that's why it says not to do it. Era 1 is FTGU only.

You move it next to an enemy ship that can be boarded and press the button

They are called boarding shuttles, so if you have them they're easy to identify. In FotR, only the Hutts have them.

My brain is to dumb to understand these things but I can fight and win wars but the who GQ side of it is words and text and my brain struggles

Having more than one resource isn't an RPG thing, it's standard in most RTS games and certainly 4X games.
