I don’t know how he could recall so much detail, I mean I can barely remember things that happened last week. He’s recalling in vivid detail things that happened decades ago.
Think of a significant incident that happened to you sometime in your life…maybe you were attacked, or had a car crash, or a near death experience , every detail is etched into your mind… and you can recall it as though it just happened.. Likely He played the entire murder in his mind over and over and over in his mind, simply adding each New murder details to the list of recalling them….But his recall is still extraordinary I do believe he has a natural ability of what is commonly referred to as a photographic memory. We can all do this , it just takes practice.

How About paying attention to the REAL important items here, instead of picking out some silly , non case-related crap to change the conversation over. Huh?
Odd thing is I'm sure I saw some of his drawings before, yet, never knew they were linked to such a deranged individual. If they are sure of at least 63 victims, he had no reasons to add another 40 to the count just for the sake of it. In his interviews, you could mistake his recall as boasting, but that's not it, far worse, he thoroughly enjoys talking about it as it brings him back to the scenes and times of his acts. The main reason he remembers so much is that he most likely used to take pleasure remembering each of his victims' deaths over and over again. It's nothing to do with good memory, he just 'revisited' his crimes so many times in his head that eventually he knew them by heart. Such memory recall ain't 100% accurate, far from it as with time the real details of what had actually transpired gets replaced by half-truths memories. It works like that for childhood memories for example, you think you remember some like if it were yesterday, yet, you only remember the version that you've replayed in your mind over the years or told people about etc. That version is never exactly accurate but a memory of memories..if that makes any sense...
He knew what he was doing..his iq is on another level…. I heat men and what was done to me I’d do the same thing at his age…. Honestly…. He had seen too much in his growing up life that he emulated it…. When growing up used to hate men but never the courage to deminish me the way they did me My life is rocky… hate men but cant get the courage to do what he did He’s my 🦸♂️
That’s how it may work for a normal human being. This man is clearly disturbed, highly intelligent, and a sociopath. He remembers more than just filled in fragments of events.
This man has the gift or curse of a photographic memory. I can remember things from when I was 3 I'm 48 now, 2 of my children also have this gift. That's why hes looking up and get that nostalgic look in his eyes and face he can remember every single detail. This also means he has his memories of these events to keep him happy too as seen on his face. As frightening as this is ..at lease he gave some closure to some families who lost there loved one. These guys rarely admit to killing kids or children. So its quite possible he started with very young women. If he were on the streets today, he just looks like a take no stuff grandpa who knew this man was not only a killer but a serial killer of 93 women, maybe more..
He also knew how to draw. Artist have very photographic memories but they really pay attention to details in features of people faces. I can't draw but I have a photographic memory of faces & numbers (license plates & phone numbers) but certain events I can't remember. I remember faces but not names. Half the time I forget what I did yesterday but I can recognize a face of someone from years ago.
I'm 50 and can remember my first day of 1st grade. Where I sat in the room, what room I was in, and the first two people I met and what we talked about. Told one guy he looked like Luke Skywalker while the other one told me to leave him alone..lol. I remember where I sat in the classroom telling my 1st grade teacher, "I can't read". She said, "Well honey when we get done with you you will". Shortly after I was in advanced reading classes outside of my classroom downstairs and across the parking lot into another building. Miss Epperson downstairs, Miss Fortney across the parking lot. ❤
Very unfortunate that he lacked someone to guide him into a life and career that would use his photographic memory and artistic gift to benefit humanity.
This is disturbing this man is laughing when he remembers killing these women like its some fond memory like he is setting around talking to friends about the good Ole days. Wow
I remember the first time I saw his victim portraits and I studied and studied the faces. It was amazing to see how he was able to instill personality into each picture. On one end, the drawing was crude, but on the other end, it was brilliant in its ability to capture the victim's individuality. After some close examination, I noticed how much detail he put in illustrating the women's throats and collar bones. That much focus on that part of a woman's anatomy was odd, very odd. It wasn't until I learned more about him later that I understood. His portraits manage to capture the sadness and desperation of each of those poor women whom he despised. He saw a vulnerability in each woman, a vulnerability society chose to ignore. How heartbreaking.
The feminist is annoying af though. Goes interviewing a serial killer and is surprised about how he treated his victims. Switch jobs if you can't handle what they tell you. What you expect? Him telling bed time stories?

About paying attention to the REAL important items here, instead of picking out some silly , non case-related crap to change the conversation over.
When growing up used to hate men but never the courage to deminish me the way they did me

He looked frightening when he was younger, dead eyes as well
He also knew how to draw.
A photographic memory is called a wank bank
So he kept killing his mother over and over and over!Have seen other interviews of him, he narrates as if he’s telling a bed time story.

Nah they don't haunt him. He doesn't feel any remorse over what he did. He loved killed if he didn't then he wouldn't have killed almost 100 people. For those faces to haunt him he would have to think he did something wrong. In his eyes he didn't do anything wrong.
