Honestly I think you don't need any pivoting rainbars to fully rinse a car. If your chemistry is set up properly, all you should need in your rinse area is a drying agent and final rinse.
If it were my wash I wouldn't prep. However, many washes prep because they think customers expect it, or their chemistry isn't properly dialed in to remove contaminants regularly encountered,
