I'd love to see some Vyrkos Themed Blood Knights. I had an idea to maybe use the slaves to darkness calvary. Add some cossack hats and space wolves heads. Maybe put a vamp lord on a thunderwolf
This is seriously one of your best conversions, I already knew what the model looked like but the reveal was breathtaking, I felt like I was there, in the mountains, in the ruins of a old village facing a vampire wolf
Man this is an ingenious way of sculpting fur! Like everyone else I've seen just kinda tries to make it look like it's layered by bashing their head against a wall but doing it this way is super easy and effective. Thanks a bunch!
Do love to see these fantasy conversions. Also loved the difficulty, new music and extra effort you put in to the display of the final model with the reveal and lighting. Was a nice touch. Can't wait for the next one!
This is my favourite conversion of yours I think. The end result is incredibly evocative and iconic for such a simple colour scheme, and that pose with the head is just gorgeous.
I know you said this isn't res 8 inspired but the way way painted the architecture and just the whole vibe of this model reminds me of it so much. Great job!!
It was suggested to me not too long ago and I've been eager to implement it. It helps to better categories how difficult a guide will instead of being halfway through a video and I suddenly pull out a 20 kits worth of bits to stick on 😂
This music was absolutely perfect! It reminded me of generation zero but more ominous! The model was great too! I got resident evil village vibes from it ngl! Keep up the great work!
Done sculpting and it’s primed and ready to paint. The first bit of green stuff I tried was old and had chunks of yellow that didn’t mix. I have never use green stuff before, but I knew something was wrong as it was VERY hard to work even with hot water. I bought new green stuff and it worked like a charm. I’m 90% happy with the sculpt because the fur is a little ugly when compared to yours, but it’s my first try. Excellent tutorial and I hope you make many more. I may try the vampire lord conversion next…
Thanks! I used my usual turntable and "concrete texture" background board but I also added in one of my Phillips Hue lightbars that was set to red. I then adjusted the position of it from being in front to being behind to create the different lighting effects.
8:31 I finally heard your answer about the vaseline when greenstuffing; I've only used water so far because I was having trouble with the basecoat / paint sticking properly. Thanks, Pete! :) (I knew binge watching your videos would pay off! Cheers!)
Liked and subbed. Great and sinister paintjob. I recently bought some skinwolves from a private collector. Still on resin sprues. I plan on using those three and a pack of fenrisians for a warcry warband. They are proxies for FEC warband.
That is a fantastic bit of conversion. I'd have maybe made the creatures neck a bit longer; but that is a tiny niggle. The modelling and painting makes for a really cool centrepiece mini.
Stunning work. Bulking out the shoulders was a huge improvement. I'd considered a conversion of this sort but wasn't sure if it'd work; thanks for making it more accessible. I wonder if the leftover vampire bits are of much use.
Really loved the video. The music in it was a bit too loud and distracting tho.. I kept checking other tabs to see where that music came from, bc it was so unfamiliar to your videos haha.
I use a basing material from War World Scenics, it's basically a really finely ground White Granite. It has that transparent and "sparkly" quality of snow. I used it in one of my older videos: ruclips.net/video/7pPJXURFPJE/видео.html
I'd love to see what you could do with some Idoneth Conversions! Maybe an alternate Akhelian King on a different kind of mount? Or a three headed eel, allopex or something!
That looks super cool! Good job on it. I do hope you do more of these monster type conversions, I know it'd be unlikely but it'd be super cool you convert a 40k themed dragon looking thing out of some models, cause 40k has a disturbing lack of dragons.
Wow! This is my favourite of all of your conversions OoO. I might even try to replicate this ngl, it is badass! I love me some wherewolf action and the snow on the base just completes it wonderfully
This was absolutely fantastic! The model was superb! The sculpt fantastic! The video was brilliant mate, I genuinely loved the music and the reveal video at the end! I prefer this to your acoustic type music you usually had. Honestly mate this was spot on and also the difficulty rating part was a great touch from previous comments!
If I follow through with Soulblight, this is a must-do conversion! I seriously dislike the minis as is, but after you’ve converted it, it looks awesome!
I was just sitting around when a random thought popped into my mind; you could use this base model and some of the techniques you used for this conversion to make a rather unique Dornian Heresy Space Wolf Khorne Daemon Prince to add to your collection. Though to be honest, I do not have enough knowledge of Warhammer lore to suggest a character for this concept.
I thought about turning the model into a Baby Dragon or female magic Dragon Ogre, but I really like your approach aswell. Tho tbh the Paintjob really stands out on this one! Very grim and moody, may I say grimdark even?! A video on that would be greatly appreciated.
After your vampire lord conversion, and now this, I'm very excited to see what other vampiric nightmares you're going to come up with.
I've got a few more Vampire related ideas, don't worry 😉
I'd love to see some Vyrkos Themed Blood Knights. I had an idea to maybe use the slaves to darkness calvary. Add some cossack hats and space wolves heads. Maybe put a vamp lord on a thunderwolf
This is seriously one of your best conversions, I already knew what the model looked like but the reveal was breathtaking, I felt like I was there, in the mountains, in the ruins of a old village facing a vampire wolf
I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed that reveal, I spent a lot of time tweaking the music and the shots to get it just right :D
Man this is an ingenious way of sculpting fur! Like everyone else I've seen just kinda tries to make it look like it's layered by bashing their head against a wall but doing it this way is super easy and effective. Thanks a bunch!
Thank you very much. You can get more realistic results in you apply narrow but more frequent layers too
This looks so much better then the actual model in my opinion. Your great man, love your work.
Thank you very much! While I don't mind the original model, it's convertibility was just too good to pass up.
Do love to see these fantasy conversions. Also loved the difficulty, new music and extra effort you put in to the display of the final model with the reveal and lighting. Was a nice touch. Can't wait for the next one!
I'm glad to hear it! I really wanted to push the video qualify outside of just the model so I'm pleased that it's coming across ☺️
This is my favourite conversion of yours I think. The end result is incredibly evocative and iconic for such a simple colour scheme, and that pose with the head is just gorgeous.
I'm glad to hear it! I loved building this model so it's great that you enjoyed it too 😊
I know you said this isn't res 8 inspired but the way way painted the architecture and just the whole vibe of this model reminds me of it so much. Great job!!
The difficulty rating is a really cool idea, now I know what conversions I can do
It was suggested to me not too long ago and I've been eager to implement it. It helps to better categories how difficult a guide will instead of being halfway through a video and I suddenly pull out a 20 kits worth of bits to stick on 😂
@@PeteTheWargamer yes, I think I remember some of the comments
"...Beasts All Over The Shop... You'll be one of them, soon or later..."
You just keep upping the ante every single time. Beautiful results mate, I'm truly impressed with your work.
Thank you! I'd hate to just stagnate, I'm always to push myself a bit further with each of my guides so I'm glad to hear that it's coming across :D
Now you gotta give those vampire upper halves some legs.
Maybe attaching them to the body of the Thunderwolf, to make a Werecentaur?
Could be fun, there are a couple of larger human shaped models I could use.
Perhaps one of the new slanneshi daemons would work, or is the scale off?
@@PeteTheWargamer The Idoneth Eidolon of Mathlan is the perfect size
Very "Bloodborne-like" great work! And I wouldn't mind a third video to complete the vampire tutorial trifecta!
This music was absolutely perfect! It reminded me of generation zero but more ominous! The model was great too! I got resident evil village vibes from it ngl! Keep up the great work!
So many people have mentioned that it has RE8 vibes that I just had to give the game a go. Absolutely loved it!
The little skull rating look so cute haha
Incredible job. Everything from the subject, method, and editing of the video was top notch.
Thank you! I appreciate it :D
It's awesome!! Only thing I would do different if I was any good would be a fluffy wolf tail
I’ve started a copy of this and it is going much better that I expected! Thanks for detailed tutorial

I don't mind the original model but what you did seriously puts it on another level of awesome 👌.
Really love this conversion. If you haven't done so already I'd love to see the set up you use for the final shots at the end of your videos.
Thanks! I used my usual turntable and "concrete texture" background board but I also added in one of my Phillips Hue lightbars that was set to red. I then adjusted the position of it from being in front to being behind to create the different lighting effects.
How not to love something that's basically a giant dead animal bit?? Also, amazing work on the fur!
8:31 I finally heard your answer about the vaseline when greenstuffing; I've only used water so far because I was having trouble with the basecoat / paint sticking properly. Thanks, Pete! :)
(I knew binge watching your videos would pay off! Cheers!)
Thank you for never failing to make me want to pick up some clippers and a brush every day.
This one of the most beautiful miniature that i ever seen...
You're a real master in conversion.
Dude that Model is insane!! Well done! *.*
Liked and subbed. Great and sinister paintjob. I recently bought some skinwolves from a private collector. Still on resin sprues. I plan on using those three and a pack of fenrisians for a warcry warband. They are proxies for FEC warband.

This is not only a good convertion, its an improvement over the original model; great work!
Music was a spot on choice Pete. Great video my dude.
I love the Lauka Vai kit, will be running two if not three of them in a monster mash list.
You know I’m gonna try this out ! Such an awesome convertion
Please do and good luck with it :D
Aahhhh, dopest conversion I’ve seen to date. Gunna give this one a try!
i would love to see more Vyrkos Dynasty conversions! Great video!
I am loving the background music.
Thanks! I put a bit more work into it this time and I think it helped with the tone of the video.
Wow, amazing painting on a great conversion idea
I knew you would have something good planned for this model! Killer paintjob as well
Far better than the original. You should be hired as a designer for GW!
I love the theme, and you are doing a great job representing it !
Keep it ut
This is f vcking sensational. The difficulty rating is a nice touch
I love it! That's an awesome conversion. I also like your new difficult rating for people wanting to tackle the same style conversion.
Fantastic conversion. This looks incredible.
Beautiful my dude
All I can say is WOW! that looks awesome
Absolutely amazing Pete! You turned a silly looking model into a terrifying beast, well done!
I love this conversion. Might have to emulate it. Great work as always!
Stunning work. Bulking out the shoulders was a huge improvement. I'd considered a conversion of this sort but wasn't sure if it'd work; thanks for making it more accessible. I wonder if the leftover vampire bits are of much use.
I'd love to see you tackle a killakan or ork dread.
That conversion adds so much to the entire dynamic of the figure, great job!
that is bad ass. take pride some of the best work youve done.
fantastic work. The only reason I would buy that model would be for an interesting conversion like this.
I need we all need a painting tutorial on this!!
I really dig the original model, but it was absolutely MADE for kitbashes too, and this one is magnificent 🔥
Really loved the video. The music in it was a bit too loud and distracting tho.. I kept checking other tabs to see where that music came from, bc it was so unfamiliar to your videos haha.
Thanks for the feedback, I'll keep it in mind next time I'm editing.
Hell yes, that model looks awesome!
I love the regular model, but this is brilliant!
Thanks!
Can't wait to see you convert "The Beast" into a Wulfen!
Beautifully done sir!
It looks soooo easy in your hands great job
Amazing, I've always wanted to see bat/rat hybrids integrated into the Skaven line and this is not far off!
What do you use for the snow on the base? That stuff looks gorgeous, as does all of your work!
I think it's just miliput but not sure
It looks like Green Stuff World Snow
@@ulgulu7433 I think you’re right! Just ordered a pot cause that stuff looks 10x better than GW’s snow
I use a basing material from War World Scenics, it's basically a really finely ground White Granite. It has that transparent and "sparkly" quality of snow. I used it in one of my older videos: ruclips.net/video/7pPJXURFPJE/видео.html
Epic conversion and paint job mate!
Love this and your Sigvald Vampire, keep it up
I'd love to see what you could do with some Idoneth Conversions! Maybe an alternate Akhelian King on a different kind of mount? Or a three headed eel, allopex or something!
I really like this conversion. Simply amazing!
Damn love the new style of videos music and OBVIOUSLY the model
This is absolutely stunning, awesome job man

I really love doing these bigger builds. Things like this and my Necrofex were great fun so I'm eager to do more.
Definitely an improvement. Great job!
Wow! This is my favourite of all of your conversions OoO. I might even try to replicate this ngl, it is badass! I love me some wherewolf action and the snow on the base just completes it wonderfully
Please do give it a go! Not too many parts needed and the fur is fairly simple to do after a little practice.
Your conversions are so amazing. Love em all. Was wondering if you could do a chaos terminator conversion like the one you made before. Bigger ones.
I think Chaos terminators are already much better scaled than their loyalist counterparts. But I do have a Chaos terminator conversion in mind 😉
This Vengorian lord kit has a bunch of great deamon prince conversion possibilities for Night Lords or just CSM in general
Absolutely gorgeous mate.
Really awesome conversion!!! I'd like to see some more wolf conversions, how abit some wearwolves but at LOTR MESBG scale so on 25mm bases?
This is really, really great. I'd love to see painting tutorial on this guy as well.
Been looking forward to this one, great work
Well now i'm gonna have to give this a try and give it some plate armor! Glad to see another Vyrkos player.
I'd love to see how you did the snow base!
This looks amazing! Great job :D
Glad you did this one my friend and he looks wicked
Trully the only reasonable thing to do with those models... I really feal like Gw is encouraging us to do convertions now.
With some of the model line, absolutely.
This is outstanding 👍 im getting some serious Legacy of Kain vibes from this, Damnit, i don't need any more projects 😅
Love it. Think I might give this a try
This was absolutely fantastic!
The model was superb!
The sculpt fantastic!

This looks 1000000% better then the original. I would never buy the GW one, but this one I would be more than happy to add to my collection.
Nice work! Reminds me a lot of the Varghulf, incidentally. Also, an idea for a future video: doing a Loonshrine up for a Spiderfang grot army.
Nice idea! It would be good to do a bit of scenery kitbashing at some point.
Congrats!! Fantastic work!!
Can u show us how to paint black fur? Which colors did u use?
Thanks!
honestly one kitbash i'd love to see you do is the Retributor chapter from the Astartes animation
Great work, looks so much better than the oryginal model.
Amazing conversion
Amazing job, as always.
Absolutely jaw-dropping.
Love this. You make it look easy
more vampire vids please, this is amazing
Damn dude, what an improvement! If this was a kit by itself I'd buy it immediately!
If I follow through with Soulblight, this is a must-do conversion! I seriously dislike the minis as is, but after you’ve converted it, it looks awesome!
Wow, going to have to try this
So cool! Love it! 🤩
Can you create something with the other part of the vengorian lord?
I was just sitting around when a random thought popped into my mind; you could use this base model and some of the techniques you used for this conversion to make a rather unique Dornian Heresy Space Wolf Khorne Daemon Prince to add to your collection.
