🇹🇭 Daily Life in World's Top Wellness Resort : CHIVA-SOM - part 2/2

Welcome back to CHIVA-SOM, apart from exercises in on land, they have exercises in the water as well. I love the area called Water Therapy Suite where they have all kinds of water therapy for guests. Really nice decoration and a large variety of activities. The highlight is "Flotation" ( a kind of hydrotherapy) in which guests have to be in their swimsuits, put the earplugs to protect your ears from water coming in, and now you are ready to float in the water for almost an hour. I love the interior design of the place - looks mysterious! I feel like being a baby in mother's womb.
Aqua Boxing is new to me. But what I love is this building called Bathing Pavilion - looks really grand and professional.
As Chiva-Som is famous for producing great healthy food for guests. Today, I will attend a cooking class where the chef will share the great information about the food that we eat in the resort.
Chef Touch is a sous chef who cooks for me today. He told me that, at CHIVA-SOM, they believe that flavours, nutrition, and presentation of the food are equally importance. So, you do not have to worry that healthy food here will not be tasty. It tastes good! Moreover, the ingredients here are of highest quality like they are organic, fresh, and GMO-free.I ask a lot questions in the session and Chef Touch could explain everything very well. It seems like I have new knowledge and personal guidance in eating at the same time. More, they care much about waste management and local community support. Yes, we are in Hua Hin where you will find great seafood and vegetables!
There are many relaxation areas in the resort, you can pick where you want to relax. Please just remember that this is your digital detox period, so mobile phones, cameras, laptops are not allowed in the public areas which I think is great because guests will learn to increase their discipline of how to avoid using digital equipments and will truly rejuvenate during their stay.
You will see that in the resort, there are beautiful trees and flowers, both living plants and decorative ones. This is a result of great team work and I have a chance to learn how they manage the flower decoration all through the resort.
I love this area called Orchid Lounge because it is large and beautifully decorated. I personally pick this corner to have some relaxing moment with afternoon tea.
In this stay, I have learned that there is this kind of world-class wellness resort existing not far from Bangkok. I think health lovers will love this resort. But you have to be an active person too, because there are many activities to do. So, it is not for people who just come here to lie down by the pool all day. You will have a real privacy and tranquility as external guests are not allowed in the resort. At the same time, the beach is just steps away from your bedroom and the resort is in Hua Hin town, so you can go to any attractions nearby easily.
