Just saw a TikToker unboxing theirs and the first thing they did was also smell the new book smell. I absolutely do not need more books but the temptation is real...might have to go on the Xmas wishlist

To be honest, I was quite surprised when my copy turned up, as I hadn't expected to be as big as it is. Annoyingly it doesn't fit in my shelves standing up so it has to lie flat. 😆😭 Also, fun fact, if you turn to the pages with Lee Binding's artworks that separate the sections, you'll see some TARDIS renders that I actually did for them (except Section 4, that used one of the promo photos of the box). 👀
I think I read it in about 3 months, and it was a really good read! And reading it doesn’t get too repetitive because its mostly from the characters perspective too!
You lucky so-and-so! That does look awesome though. Every year my Mum asks what I want for the upcoming dreaded holiday and I usually just say something Transformers or Jurassic Park related. This year is the first in what seems like forever that there's something I can direct her to Smiths and not Smyths for! 😂 Cheers!
@@CulturePhilter Transformers was my first love, then Star Trek (when I tried to "grow up". That went well! 🤦😂) then I got back into DW when the TV movie came out. Back then there was very little available outside of the TV novelisation books, Big Finish audo dramas and vintage Dapol and the like. It was a massive shock to our collective systems when New Who started and we had so much to choose from! I think I have everything from DT's first stint that was released. Now it seems like the old days again with very little to buy. I'm hoping that will change with this soft reboot and we have too much to choose from again! I hope Father Christmas brings you at least some of your Amazon wish list! 😉😁
I have the book and it’s very fun but I wish it had an episode guide, I’m making one on word to print off for myself but other than that it’s a fantastic reference book to have
@@CulturePhilter Its a cynical shorthand alternate remake of Genesis not a prequel. it's list of contradictions with Genesis would fill an entire page, not to mention the tone. Its like doing a mini episode of Secret Army in the style of Allo Allo.
Hi. Sorry I’ve been meaning to reply to this for days but kept thinking “I’ll go check the book first” and then I forget. So from my very quick flick though in the video I’d say it doesn’t go into depth but might give that info for some characters.
