As someone who speedruns celeste at a high level but knows zero about bingo, this was fascinating to watch and really has taught me a lot about routing. maybe i will begin my bingo arc... 👀
Very interesting to see the thoughtprocess laid out like that. Multitasking in particular makes a lot of sense when it is explained, even though at first it doesn't seem logical, however it does rely on your opponent not knowing you are multitasking, doesn't it? Otherwise there is nothing stopping them from multitasking alongside you and then at the last "checkpoint" of both goals to guess and hope to beat you on both. If on the other hand you think your opponent will be multitasking in an attempt to catch up you could go allin on any one goal, so it becomes a bit like RPS.
Normally you full commit to multitasking if you know you're ahead, as like you correctly analyzed, it can be very risky to do so if you're on even playing field with your opponent. So multitasking is mostly done if you know you have an advantage compared to your opponent. If you have an advantage your opponent has to spend time being behind you and let's say you multitask and your opponent focuses on one thing, your opponent maybe gets that one thing but you have the advantage to the other thing then as you know you had an advantage you can just commit to the other objective. And if the opponent multitasks as well you had an advantage going in anyways so you win. It's very risky to multitask if you don't have an advantage to something

A little incoherent at times but the video formulates the thought process well, albeit it should not be expected to get stuff perfect in a game like bingo so the entire thing being a little chaotic at times just about sums it up, but otherwise a good peek at the insights of higher level routing and judgement calls made in the newer generator.
I had no idea competitive Celeste was a thing this is amazing

As someone who plays a lot of hollow knight lockout but has only played celeste casually this was still very fascinating to watch!
This was fascinating! Really cool to see how it all breaks down, and your thought process throughout it all.
