That was a just a masterful instruction. As a veteran of long years of military instruction including flight training and space school, I can assert that your sense of pace, repetition, and parenthetical inclusion of only tangentially related but important information is outstanding. This is your gift.
This was awesome. This was exactly what I needed. Is there a way that you can save the template whenever you want to use it on TOS? Or do I have to manually create the conditions?
Thank you. You've earned a subscriber as I've spent hours looking for explanations to exit options based on stock price (specifically on the Mobile App). I'd like to understand better how to exit spreads. I practiced with your 3rd example and was able to set up take profits/stop loss brackets on a credit spread. This is great, but a little time consuming if I don't want to create the "take profit" order and only want to close the spread when the stock price gets close to my short leg. I'm trying to figure it out, but it looks like the paperMoney orders I create keep getting cancelled. I'm creating the credit spread, hit next and, when looking at the order, select quantity of contracts and limit price. Then I scroll down to "cancel on market condition" and select mark, price at or below, then the stock price I want to exit the position at. I must be doing something wrong because it looks like the order gets accepted but then cancelled. Thanks.
So applies to vertical spreads also? Is it possible to simply use conditions to sell at one stock price and buy at another to close a spread? Kind of like an OCO?
if you have this condition set as a stop loss on open contract position, can you still close your position for profits? or does the order not fill if the stop is set at stock price?

Loved it. Just what I was looking for.
I do not have that condition button on my app
Why not a STOP order but a LIMIT order for your stop loss for your OCO? I'm confused. 🫤
