They have an uncanny knack of never clearly resolving into pure major or minor keys which builds tension in every chord. There’s no one quite like them

NBT are my all-time favorite band since their first album. I got to meet Connor and had a picture taken. This was in St. Louis, and Connor looked exhausted. I wish they would come back to St. Louis when they tour the States. ❤
Absolutely love NBT and I finally got to see them live @ Enmore Theatre, Sydney Australia and I was absolutely blown away and humbled not only by their amazing performance but from the crowd and fans. Concerts are usually plagued with crowds phones glued to their hands - not this crowd, everyone was enjoying and living in the moment. Even if someone did have their phone out it was only a quick photo or a little video and straight back into the amazing energy and performance which NBT rightly deserve. ❤❤❤
I remember watching Muse in 2016 with Nothing but Thieves as support. When I heard they were supporting I just thought it would be some random support band and didn't really care, but when I watched them at the gig they blew me away. Been a fan since
Having seen these tonight, live at Leeds Millennium Square, loved them for a good few years now. My adult nephew came along with me to look after me.😆🤷♀️ He’d only heard a couple of their songs, he’s into heavy rock so I was worried it wouldn’t be his thing. i had no clue who they were until bbc big weekend in may. heard welcome to the DCC (the first song in their set) and immediately went to spotify and followed them. that night i listened to almost every song and fell in LOVE. within two weeks i knew the words to every song and had preordered dcc. Alternative rock is in an insanely healthy place right now, you've got nothing but thieves, royal blood, catfish and the bottlemen, sam fender all leading the way with bands like the amazons, yonaka, HIMALAYAS, blue stone all supporting from a little further back. I'm sure there are also hundreds of less good and less known bands working things out being inspired by these bands (including my band... I'm stupid excited to release my first songs). Thanks so much for the quick history of the band. I discovered them for myself two months ago and am super deep into their musical world. I love rock music all the way from the 60s to the 2000s. How come I am learning about this band in 2024? My favourite bands haven't got as many great songs on 3 albums as these guys have on one. As a 33yo dad I thought I am bound to end up like all the dads before - listening to the songs from their teens and twenties. I did not expect to find a rock band of such immense quality in my 30s.
I've been a big fan of theirs since 2015. They played at Summer Well in Romania at 4 in the afternoon with the not so well-known bands and I just fell in love with Conor's voice and everyone's energy and passion. They came back last year and headlined the festival. It was pouring rain and everyone was singing word for word alongside Connor/ Poor lad was so stunned he kept saying in between songs how amazed he is we know their songs. At some point he started crying and had to pause for a second. They invited the Bucharest Simphonic Orchestra to play live with them and it was pure magic. The entire show was just magical. They were for me way way better than Arctic Monkeys. I'm grateful I've found them randomly on MTV 8 years ago and had their excellent music.

I maintain that a band is good when the art they produce is greater than they are - they truly transcend which is really the function of music. This band does the hard work: they still carry their own equipment to set up a studio; on an emotional level they can make plans when they burn out on tour instead of going further along the downward spiral; their live performances reflect their intelligence; they are really present whether they are on stage or producing new work and they are able to make a connection through the music and in person. That is why I also love Foo Fighters. Young bands like these guys graduate early from their drug induced stage stupor or skip it completely and are focused on their brand as well as their art. I would like to see NBT reach out to young artists more. Reach one - teach one.

1st song I ever heard was Tripswitch and was hooked straight away, saw them live on 15/12/2017 @ The Factory Theatre (Australia) what a great live concert, they were supported by @CREO. Bumped into a couple of poms there too, very proud, actually my cousin lives in Essex! Honey Whiskey gets me every f-ing time, but Overcome, damn what an emotional song.
love this!
Absolutely love NBT been a fan since 2015 they’re class live and will remain a favourite foreverrrr❤️❤️❤️
so good
You may have just created a new fan... and so it begins 🤣
love this!
Massive fan. Their live acoustic / Q&A Session in Norwich was epic! Connor's live vocal was insane. Week and a half until Reading !!!
Did you see them?
@@JackWebbMusicClub Saw them in Norwich (acoustic), at Reading Festival (Full band) and going to see their headline set at Wembley Arena in November 😁
Yeah Norwich was amazing, especially Lover Please Stay - how he nailed it after saying he hadn’t sung it for 8 years, and then he was so pleased with himself afterwards bless him. He’s so cute 😄
@@4363laura seeing them again in London on 11th … can’t wait!!! 😁
@@FastRuffneck I’m seeing them on the 10th! Would have gone both nights but the 11th clashed with something else. I’m going to Bournemouth on the 3rd, and both nights in Amsterdam next February. Oh and also saw the acoustic set in Kingston as well as the Norwich one. I think I have a bit of an addiction 😄
Really good quality content!
Thanks so much mate, lots of work goes into it, glad it pays off
Amazing band 😊
NBT is my favorite band! I heard them on the radio as a kid and have been hooked since. All their songs are bangers
and they just keep getting better and better
Sorry Kerrang but MORAL PANIC is THE best album I have ever listened to. It has been on heavy rotation by me since it came out and I'm still not sick of it. A song for every emotional state with some very strong topics throughout the lyrics. It's a masterpiece. I can't believe how far the lads have come.
Kerrang = wrong
I remember first getting into them and listening to broken machine. I was listening to all the songs and then I watched a video of particles live and I was just like wow, I can’t believe I haven’t heard this earlier and why the fuck are they not popular in the US
Yeah, I feel like they've got it to break the US, I just feel like guitar music isn't having a moment in the US like it is elsewhere rn
For me, this band has an emotional bond. Every time I feel bad, I listen to the songs. I don't feel better, but I understand.
so good to have music that can do that for you
Been listening to them on and off since 2016 after I discovered Trip Switch on the FIFA 15 Soundtrack. Got tickets to see them in the fall. Should be a lot of fun.
i hate to be dramatic but NBT helped me through a dark dark time and I just saw them live for the 4th time and man what a fucking privilege. Been a fan since 2016 and i love them more & more each listen
Me encantan❤no tienen una sola canción mediocre
I'm so excited. I'm gonna be seeing them in November and I'm so happy
not long now!
i can’t wait to see them in november !
so good
Oh lord.. Anyone else misread "dethroning"?
raging dyslexic here, what did you read?????
Theyre so Underrated, It hurts.
yup
Would love to see you come over to the Great Escape festival in Brighton. Showcases the new bands on the block from across the world and is a great experience
One day Chris, I'd love that!
gonna see them in August, can't wait
...and... how were they
Argh. Should've wait for Overcome to come out only a day or two after you released this video. Would've been cooler!
Great band and great video.
Gonna see them in June in Germany. I'm so excited 😍
Me too, Stuttgart "Hell, Yeah"
