Master Bower, glad you enjoyed it. With 15" gauge you might check some makers of grand scale equipment for wheels. Rail can be found at discover live steam's website.
Murphy Jenkins thanks for the advice. I have looked for narrow gauge wheels before but no luck or it is oversea. I am actually planing on milling my own wheels on a lathe and keeping but selling a pair but they would only be 2,1/2inches not normal 8 or 10 inch wheels. Same with the rales. I may make it out of ether angle or quarter in by 1 inch plat bar with quarter by 3/4 flat bar welded for ties. But i have looked at the price of rail and it may be more bag per buck for it, not dissident yet, got all summer. Also, I have had discover live steam bookmarked for a few years now and I almost bought a speeder but it went to quick. Most of all, thanks for the advise and can't wait to see mor of your railroad.
Sounds like an interesting plan. I eventually plan to cast and machine aluminum wheels. Part two should be out within a week. I can't wait to see what your line will look like. Feel free to post to my Facebook group, there is also plenty of inspirational stuff on there as well. Thanks again
Very cool to see this Railroad come together! I'm also a big fan of the Frisco!
Thank you! It has been a long going project!
Man I really like this stuff. I was actually thinking about making a 15 or 16 inch narrow gauge at my home this summer. Keep it up, love to see more
