This is both beautiful and sad. Someone put lots of hard work into every piece of this, only for it to be taken away by time. I guess it happens to all of us if we live long enough.
Would love to know where this is… if it was close enough I’d like to volunteer my time to doing some cleaning up along the rails or whatever else needed to be done 😊
Very cool miniature train tracks in your yard the thing that would make that a little bit better that is if you had a miniature coal train but what you got is just as cool especially how you got it going through the woods that's awesome
Is This in NY? I live in Washington state, we have a mc coy creek too i thi k every state does lol, but if so then this is near Monroe Washington, id love to come out if it was, and fo some clearing and maintenance on this lovely forest RR, the ride is relaxing, just fun, takes me back to my childhood...thank you for the video 😊
Thank you, its a lovely place, love to visit for a peaceful ride, help out with some of the clearing of vegetation, thus looks like something out of my many dreams, of a rail system of maximum cuteness and imagination! I dont have the property nor the $ to build one, but this little bit needs to be kept up as brst as possible, it is a private rail line, but some of the public might enjoy, a ride like this, i know i would!, the bridge nreds some reinforcement in places, no problem there, i may even go ahead and rebuild them! To repeat, this is a charming rail line, straight out of my imagination, but its real!!
This seems to be a nice little rail-road that`s seriously in need some track-side maintenance, good dose of weed-killer and track ballast would be a good starter to make it look really attractive.
The line has been slowly being expanded/built since the late 70s Ron made most the equipment and track from scratch. Majority of the line rides on C-channel rail
This is the problem with a RR on private property. When the owner passes or becomes to elderly to do the maintenance, everything goes to seed. My own experience was with the Holmes brothers 15" gage, 5" scale GSP&P in the Santa Cruz mtns. I had 30 years of enjoyment, but all good things end.
I'd like to know the history of this. Just the amount of time to do something like this not counting the amount of money. This is the America few know about. Thanks.
Is there a website or something about this beautiful little railroad , looks good with nature framing the rails ! Just about the space for the train to go by. The plentiful treecover makes it feel like a longer line . Very nice rolling stock also! I hope that someone intrested in this stuff will take care of this gem in the future....
This is what happens when you keep out growing your train set, you keep getting bigger sets until one day you have a 1:1 scale train set... It is my ambition to one day own a 1:1 scale lay out.
It would be great to know more about the individual who built this, they had a love for railroading that's for sure......The forest is going to eat this place up though unless somebody does something about it. The whole thing is just super!🚂🚂
Looks like an nice old logging rail road at its end of cutting .I hope some one get to the track work soon as possible . the wood lot is so nice and wildly. I had to watch this two times . by the way where is this location at .
This Is Way Too Cool, McCoy Creek Trestle Good For 25. He Got Some Standard Gauge And That Is Such A Cool Crossing Diamond, Thanks For Sharing This. Amazing.
Whimsical, woody, wonderful! Amazing effort and fantastic results. Surely there was help at one time? One man cannot build a bridge like that! ?? Are the trolleys battery or are the rails powered?
Very interesting video. Thanks for making it. Very interesting reairoad also. Somebody put a to of time and effort into building it. You can tell it is getting worn out now. I hope they can find some friends to help fix it up. I would like to know more about the history of this railroad. How long ago was it built?
Floor it Harold, punch it Margaret, give it the beans! lol!! I would love to have something like this near me where I could volunteer time. Even though my health isn't the best, I'd still do it.

Why be taken away? Other people can maintain it
You know what maby you can turn it into a railroad club and get it back into shape for all to enjoy
Welcome to, old age😔…………
What a beautiful line. Huge amount of effort needed to build something like this. Sadly, a lot more effort and money now needed to restore it.
Richard Stuart Well said....!!

Fabulous private RR. The setting is stunning. "Maintenance Of Way" (MOW) is the railroad term that comes to mind for this scenic RR.
That bridge is really impressive
Thanks for the real-time ride-along! That was awesome!

Just goes to show you enjoy your dreams everyone gets old

So, are the tracks electrified, or are the cars, battery powered??
That was so cool. Someone with some $$$$$ has got to come in and save this treasure.

Don't you just wish you owned all this?
would love to know more about this little private RR, everything looks like it could use some love.

How fun ! Every little boy's dream - and not so little boys
I bet in its hey day it was an amazing little railroad. Would be cool for it to refurbished . To bad the west bridge was washed out . Great video

Right-of-way needs some maintenance.
Can someone create a website with information, (maps?), updates, and possibly where to make donations to pay for the upkeep on this line?
I'll ask Ron if he is interested in any of that. Being a private railroad, he might not want all the info public
@@murphyjenkins5042 understood.
Thank you for your reply.

That is too cool! That would be wild to ride that about 2:30 - 3:00 o'clock in the morning! Especially by yourself!
New here. Is this one guys dream? If it is, how cool
Too cool. I want one. Next time I hear of a mine by me shutting down, going to talk to management about salvaging trackwork and a shunter.
Cool looks like a Great Railroad lot of nice sign.

Wouldn't it be incredible to stumble across something like this when you were looking for a house to buy....
