The good thing about motorhomes like these is are that other manufacturers will see the innovation and try to copy at a reduced cost... I like the iPad integration for example. They have their place but alas not on my driveway.
the only thing I would change is the sofa across the bathroom, instead I would put a washing/dryer machine .... its only thing that missing .... by far the best and most beautiful RV I've ever seen
Now this is a nice little camping car, just right size for two people, only problem is how many campsites would let you park this, having said that, this is only as big as the bigger A class american motorhomes.
Hi Alan,, Happy Saturday:) I had a run through the first time and appears to be a lovely spacious Motor Home,, I will watch again,, but what I was looking for is... how accessible will the interior be with slides in? Considering there are places where the slide outs are not permitted,, well there are here in the states.:) I saw the model,, but again,, no view of slides closed.
If you buy one of these do they give you a list of suitable campsites? Very nice but not practical for the average camper. Keep up the good work and stay safe.
@@VanlifewithAlan We have only been to a few sites in Europe where these would fit. I suppose a lot of owners go from race track to race track or big venues. Not a world I know.
@@arndale1957 Of course it is a tiny niche (mega rich) within a tiny niche (campers) and there is a good market for this type of vehicle from those that can afford it!
Truck stops work, they are made for it :-) A Swedish youtuber, "biltokig", went on a road trip in one this spring. 30-ish episodes. It worked quite well but they did stand out a bit at campsites. And hit a few branches driving on narrow roads.
26 metric tonnes = 26,000 Kg - you need to have a Truck drivers permit to drive it around - category C and/or D You also need your own Petrole Station as it drinks diesel very fast !
That was done deliberately to cut off the driving position from the rest of the vehicle. I think the idea is tha the driver only drives the vehicle to its destination then sleeps somewhere else whilst the van owners fly in and live there!
@@VanlifewithAlan Half the fun of having it would be driving it yourself 🙂 A Swedish actor (Mikael Persbrandt) did a few videos with a motor journalist where he drove one home after living in it for 10 weeks while doing a movie. Very nice but not practical in the uk. Can’t see it on our narrow roads and imagine turning up at a camp site in one of these. Who actually buys one of these?
Appropriate choice of music (you could add some helicopter sound for the luxury feeling and for uneducated people like me). :) But I really don´t like the floorplan, especially the sofa and the Hubbett...
Hi,, Mercedes. Not a fan. It is tastefully appointed. The bed folds in half when slide is closed and unusable. So the overhead drop-down will be used. Table and pedestal removed and sofa turns into another bed set up. Bedroom. Wardrobe is blocked unless climbing over bed. Shower is 1/2 size when closed. Most of the kitchen area will be very limited due to the sofa section being folded in front of slide out sofa. Table & post removed. Limited everything,, it appears. Clean.:)
@@VanlifewithAlan Fibs for sale. The back Master bed mattress folds in 1/2 on top of other mattress. Stacked in front of wardrobe when slide is in. The sofa that blocks cab area,, folds forward and meets flush with slide sofa. Table and pedestal must be removed and stored. The isle is walk-able but not passable. The dishwasher is UN-usable,, and is the refrigerator accessible with so much furniture? Here in the states that's how the layout is. I'm pretty sure they are following a very similar floor-plan and design,, since it is sitting on an MB Chassis..ooh these sales people,, have to watch them all the time..:)

My dear God , that is really beautiful motormobil house.
LOL. Elevator Music throughout the video. I love it.
That’s a thing of beauty
Absolutely classy vehicle! Nothing tacky about this motor home. I literally could live in this permanently - if I was that rich enough! 🤣👍
This is how the other half lives. Awesome! This is class - to the extreme!

There is a washing machine in the vehicle under the living area!
I think one of the most beautiful I've ever seen, too bad I can't even afford the toy model at the end 🤣
my new passion🥰🥰🥰
my house is just shy of 700 sq lol this beast of a house on wheels looks bigger than my little house

حلوه السياره❤
I would have to work for thirty years before I can afford this......🤣🤣🤣🤙
Yeah, think l won't be going down quaint Cornish country lanes any time soon in that monster.
Alan didn't explain about the shuttle pod.
My future home! 😳
The sofa behid the driver seat makes jo sence

Yes Alan, this is a motorhome
What about the garage? Nice motorhome! 🤩
Next time!
We have alloy wheels on our Pilote!
Nice!
Thank you! Cheers!
Does it come with a washer and dryer combo?
It can do - it is built to order. This one has a washing machine in the underfloor storage.

Strange you should write that John, they brought the subject up with me!

But what about the fridge? was it a choice between the dishwasher?
You have to hop over the couch to get to the cab?
Just one wall drobe should be instead for a washingmashin ,
that is what I reckon , if that's possible .
It is built to order Izabela so one could have whatever one wanted!
Did I miss them showing the Fridge?
FOUR slides? I can't imagine how heavy this thing is. Not to mention the expense if ONE slide jams and has to be removed for repairs...

The sofa blocking the passage from the drivers seat seems like an awkward design choice.

I found my RV to tour the EU with!
Alan I want one!
Can they take my 2020 Winnebago Horizon 42Q in trade?
I am sure they would jump at the chance - irrespective of the condition of the Winnnebago!
I’ve seen this one in Denmark, it was just before the Dusseldorf caravansalon so he was heading over to there. By the way it is Eila, small mistake
Thanks for pointing out the spelling mistake, I will change it now. I did not notice!
If you have to ask the price, you can’t afford it.

F1 teams?..Polo teams..?...wealthy Arabs...
Clearly it is designed for chauffered use or to be left by a driver at a destination as a mobile home.
Actors, movie productions...
It needs a bit of internal rearrangement, there is no room for the staff e.g. driver, chef etc. Sorry I see it now, they have their own motorhome.
Wagner would be quite at home in it.
Not at all. He would ask for the place for his piano be ready or he would buy another huge house for it.
🤣🤣🤣🤣

I did not see it with the slide outs in but they said that it is still usable - the slide outs create a larger corridor!

No the effects. Otherwise a nice truck
Probably very useful for F1 drivers but not practical for genuine campers.
