Anything that sticks straight to the point and doesn't have much fillers. You can start any anime that's usually 12 episodes and each one of them are interesting because if u start off with FMA, they will lose interest... except for the best moments. Find out what they like, for example my dad loves more action and gore meanwhile my mom loves shojo and interesting plots so I show them Death note. Then when I watch alone with my mom I show her Kaichou wa Maid sama! And with my dad alone, one punch man.
