How many of you often confuse ADVERBS with ADJECTIVES? Raise your hand! 💁♀💁♂💁Don't give up, it takes practice to get it right! Thank you, Gina, for creating a video just focused on teaching us adverbs
Welcome Dear Gina from the FarEast! I congratulate You on the 79th anniversary of Victory Day. Do you remembering on the May 8 year '45 US army signed the act of surrender of Germany. Thank You so much for your response!
Hi teacher Gina, Could I please ask a question? Is there a difference between being patronizing and being talking down to someone? What about being condescending and acting high and mighty? Can I use them interchangeably? Thank you so much in advance.
I'm a new suscriber in your channel, and to be honest, it's so clean and organized, and the way you are teaching is magnificient. I FRANKLY LOVE IT! keep it that way! God bless you teacher!
Gina, you are an incredible teacher! I’m watching your videos from Japan. Your explanation is so clear that I can totally understand. Thanks a lot! And I love your voice and the way you talk ❤
brava Gina . la tua forza e' la semplicita'. the speaking clear and on right time is fondamental for listeners non native. no music or jingles background, thanks!
When I was studying English, I always got confused about the adverbs.💖💞I learned a lot about adverbs from today's lecture. I always go to bed late on Friday nights because the next day is the weekend.😆🤣I hope many people watch your channel. Thanks a lot.💯
I'm impressed by how well you explained that grammar point, and I have a question about ''on Saturday night''. Can we call it a prepositional phrase and also an adverb of time?
Great question 😃 Yes! A prepositional phrase is considered an “adverbial phrase” if it modifies a verb, but it’s an “adjectival phrase if it modifies a noun. For example, “The party on Saturday night was crazy!” (Here, “on Saturday night” modifies “The party” as the subject of the sentence.) I hope this helps 😊
Thank-you so much for your work. I got lot from your lessons. I have been spending more time and more money on learning English. But unfortunately nothing worked for me. I always feel insecured when it comes to English. Now i feel that i landed on good place to learn English. I am suffering from English since my childhood. This totally sucks. Now i get a confidence to learn English only because of you. I want to get freedom from English like the protoganist of The Shawshank redemption get at the end of the movie. Help me to get freedom. Again thankyou so much mam❤. (Prakash from India)
Please continue the series of parts of speech. And there are lots of students preparing for banking exams in India. The exam comprises English as one important paper of 30 marks in the preliminary exam and 40 in the mains . syllabus:- parts of speech, synonyms and antonyms, phrasal verb, idioms and phrases, reading comprehension, inference, assumption, sentence rearrangement, sentence improvement, para jumble.
He is perfectly right i also prepare for an English profeicency exam we need a lot more of phrasal, verbs idioms and reading comprehension (stories and novels). Thanks for understanding.
Thank you ma'am. Please do on non finites and types of clauses. When we search on videos, found that many are not covering the topic completely. This keeps us searching endlessly. Please teach us how to construct a sentence using non finite verbs.if you can make a comparison between non finite and normal sentence , will bd better. Clauses nd the types are difficult for many of us. Could you please take examples from the news and do clause analysis? Thank you so much

I've counted at least five times 🤔. Although implicit, I had never heard rule number two: 'never separate the main verb and its object'🫡
