V Sync off both ingame and in nvidia control panel, steam alr put to +fps_max unlimited, ea play didnt detect my game, still 60 fps (i5 10500H, 1650 Max-Q)

I have 240HZ & RivaTunner & Vsync in game + Vsync NCP turn off
And my fps still lock on 240 fps no matter what i have unlock everythink and everywhere, my fps won't go up to hit 300, even if i set on rivatunner to 300fps, in game still lock on 240fps
My monitor have gsync but i turn this off, and still have lock on 240fps, any solution ?
Maybe the latest nvidia driver something messed up ? i have the latest 531.41
if its locked to 240 you have vsync on somewhere any time your monitor is locked to the HZ its always vsync and or gsync and restart game after making changes makes sure its turned of in the monitor osd hud and in global setting in nvidia and in the same spot make sure you check for apex and make sure its not set on per game in nvidia control panel. these are some things you can try you may have other software boosting performance that's capping your frames but if you have a fresh windows install and testing it before you install a bunch of oc software then you well have to check every place possible for them settings that cap frames vsync in most cases.

After I did all of it I went from 60 fps to 67 so I Gus it worked 🤷♂️ aswell I tried typing the command twice
some computes cant really do the same fps as others but theres a lot of things that can cause the fps to be low

yes as you should there is nothing happening in the small firing range map your pc only needs to render 1 /1000 as much stuff and max of 4 people not the over 60 in a real map so this is normal

I cap at 130 in-game and I have i9 10th gen and a 3080, 240hz monitor.. I've been doing all these tutorials nothing helping :(

Same wtf? The only way I can get to 144 is by turning off v-sync in my NVIDIA control panel and then turning v-sync ON in game??? Idk how that makes sense but I need to keep vsync off in the control panel for other reasons with my monitor. So I’m stuck

hey i have a 3060 i7 and cdap my fps to 240 is steam apex and when i get in a game it just gose back in forth to 170 240 why?????
Well yeah if you expected a low end budget card like a 3060 to hold 240 solid that's not how it work this is to unlock the ability to have more then 144 fps if your hardware can't hold it because you have a low end card there's no setting to fix that budged card budget fps but even my 3090 don't hold 300fps sturdy it should still bounce around a bit to stop that use vsync and lose the extra boost one or the other not card well hold 300 with out moving down a bit as load changes and I'm surprised you even can get 240 fps on a 3060

They do the game cap is 144 and it's what they locked it at for good reason as it's stable and the best game play experience for most anything past 144 can cause issue I wish also that they have a slider for the fps past 144 but currently they have it in video option from 0 to 144

depend are you having issues with it not capped if not then why would any one capp it would make no sense to me so try it if your having issues like frame pacing or screen tearing them limit the fps if needed each game reacts different if not issue dont change it
it sits capped for me at 60fps no matter what I do
if it still says 60 you did something wrong turn vsync off everywhere if its locked to 60 you have it locked to 60 somewhere. a few ways to try and fix this is to do a driver reset delete user settings and try again make sure to follow every step if it still says 60 you missed a setting you need to change, if you have your monitor set to 60 hz then vsync is still on.
Same problem here, it’s not vsync for me because my monitor is 155hz (yeah weird number but that’s the actual hz) and I went to this video tryna fix it haha

no this is not a bannable action EA does not ban people for letting there game play at max fps that would be crazy. this is 100% safe to use. if you are still unsure or would like confirmation this you can reach out to ea support for an answer from on it. it is even allowed in apex comp/ALGS :)

@@SeanyJT hummm yeah that is weird a 3080ti is what im running and i had no issues hiting 300 but not all the time i am not sure why it would have you at 299. have you tried reinstalling the video card drivers? and game by chance ?
@@ZNsolo101 I had same issue when I was on 2070s. I also clean installed my pc lately so it cant be that. Maybe its a visual bug for apex on steam? Maybe I should try a fps counter and see. if it still happens i can try installing origin version

Uncapping your fps It shouldn't affect your graphics at all I'm not having the same issue that is vary unfortunate 😕 if it's the only thing you changed i don't have any suggestions or fixes for it check your other setting to make sure everything's good just in case

You can't there is a hard cap at 300 that apex can't pass if your stuck at 299 then some of your setting are holding you at that you have to find what's it is if you followed the video it should give you the max fps at up to 300 not 300 and over if your at 299 then you can't hit 300 or something is stopping you like settings you have and or other software you use and or have running
360 is overkill, I have an xl2566k which is 360hz and although it would be nice to have more than 300 fps cap it’s not needed at all LMFAO

Yeah lmao I don't know why you thought different apex game engine has a physical cap like most other game engine there is a limit to fps some games differ due to different game engine there built with apex is hard capped at 300 due to engine limits most games are like this

it will hurt you to know that it was apex that hard coded in the cap for 144fps and the launcher paste it only changed the confing file for apex that apex didnt left you have a slider in game for theres no reason why they cant just have an fps slider thats all on apex now the engine its built on is capped at 300fps to be far when they started using that engine to build the game on no one was thinking 300 fps would be the normal that was unlucky for them but the cap at 144 is 100% all on apex dev and the launcher option only changes a file that you could go change on the pc yourself or apex could give us a slider for it its just changing the config.ini setting that are included inside the apex game lmao but im not salty at all hahahhahaha its a bit silly we need todo this just to get 300fps unlocked
why did it not worked
You missed a step. If it didn't work, you either have vsync on somewhere or you put the command in wrong in the launcher. Make sure to check for vsync setting off

I turn vsync off in game, off in nvidea control panel, typed command into EA launcher and turned off my adaptive sync on my monitor it's still maxing at 120fps, I have i9 and a 3080 😢 eyyyyyy I can't figure it out
