If you would be living in Croatia and using public transportation, this is what it would look like. A Croatian language lesson is included in the video 😊 What do you think of our buses? Are buses in your country similar or different? Sending you summer greetings from Croatia! = Šaljem vam ljetne pozdrave iz Hrvatske!
Bok Sanda, The second link show the first generation of buses which run on gas, and the first link show the new fleet of buses that run on gas to be installed in Punta Arenas, and the design of the new buses are based on our regional flag which is blue, yellow an white with the south cross constellation. The price for an adult is like half of a dollar.

Lovly man love you
Rijeka is such a beautiful city! 😊
I remember bus line 32 from Reijka to Opatija well. And the car transfer Reijka to Porec. Very nice to have experienced this. It went very well there. This was years ago in 2002.
Beautiful place...
Hi sanda 😋 nice job
Fabulous memories
Muy bello Rijeka, saludos Sanda
Pozdrav iz Kanade. I live part time in Istria and love Rijeka! Have a car in Istria so rarely ride buses. In this city in Canada the bus system is very limited, not nearly as efficient as those in Europe. Not as crowded, either! 😊
Thank you so much for producing your practical and interesting videos...I like them very much. Very helpful and intriguing. Easy to sense your passion for Rijeka. My heart is in Istria...cannot wait to be where I belong! 💗
Puno hvala! Well done.
Hi Brenda! Thanks for your nice comment, I am happy that you like them! When will you be coming to Istria? Istria is beautiful, but there you definetely need a car! Canada has bigger distances, I suppose, so people also depend a lot on cars?
@@CroatianExperiencewithSanda
Really enjoy your instructional and friendly style. Can't wait for your next video!
To put things into perspective, Croatia is about 56,500 square km. Canada is almost 10,000,000 and encompasses six time zones. The particular province I live in is sparsely populated with no rural public transportation so it is necessary to rely on cars.
Will be in Istria in a month. August isn't my favourite month there (hot and busy!) but planned it that way for various reasons. Very much looking forward to spending autumn there, too. 😊 Spring and autumn are my favourite seasons there, though any time is great, even winter as we have temperatures down to -40C and snow for six months here. Too severe!
@@maslina4567 Thanks, that's wonderful! I enjoyed reading your comment and thank you for a glimpse into Canada!
Temperatures of -40 sound apsolutely terrifying! The maximum I experienced was -15 in Ljubljana, Slovenia and it was freezing cold. But I'm sure that it is very true what they say: "There's no bad wheather, only bad clothing for that whether." So I suppose you can manage if you are properly equipped and dressed.
My favourite months in Croatia are April, June and September. As you say, in August it often gets too crowded. But what I try to do then is to go to the sea as early as possible and return home by 10:30 before the tourists come to the beach.
I hope you'll have a wonderful time in Istria and I'm looking forward to reading your comments on my upcoming videos. Let me know if you have some video ideas for my future videos.
Lijep pozdrav!
@@CroatianExperiencewithSanda
We must plug cars in for them to start in winter if not in a garage. Tires become square until warmed up! And the cold can literally hurt one's lungs. We also have many very windy days and therefore a -40 day can feel like -60. Really awful. But we do cope by dressing in layers. And layers...and layers...
Ljubljana is a pretty city! Haven't been there in winter but have been at home in Istria when it has snowed...looks particularly strange on palm trees!
Those are my favourite months in Croatia as well. Superb. We, too, enjoy swimming in August (actually as soon as it is 18C). Cannot get enough of Croatia. I walk so much that I can tell if there is a missing stone in a wall or a new tree. You could call me obsessed. 😃
Nice to "meet" you!
Will think of video ideas...thanks!
It reminds me of Belgrade. I spent my adolescence there... In Croatia I have been to Zagreb and Poreč. I loved them...
All the best for Croatia in this hard times.

I was surprised at how cheap the bustickets were in Croatia.
Really? Where are you from? Did you use the local buses or the buses that take you from one city to another?
@@CroatianExperiencewithSanda I was at the busstation at Trogir where the inter-city prices were very low compared to Holland.
@@DrNoxin Yes, Western Europe is more expensive 😊
U live in there rigth now?

Hi sanda
Huiiiii
man i can cameing can
Hi Sanda!!! I'm watching all your videos and there are very helpful.
I'm going on holidays to Dubrovnik next week :)
Can you tell me the prices of the buses? And if I could pay by cash or I need to buy a card like yours??
Gracias y saludos desde España!!
Hi! I'm glad you find my videos helpful! How long will you be staying in Croatia? You can pay for the bus ride directly inside the bus, you need to ask the driver. The bus ticket is a bit more expensive if bought in the bus. In Rijeka, one bus ride is 10 kunas (inner city circle, not suburbs), when you buy it in the bus itself. If you buy in kiosk then you'll get 1 ticket which is valid for 2 bus rides, for 15,50 kunas. Of course, this is Rijeka, Dubrovnik is always more expensive 😀
@@CroatianExperiencewithSanda thanks for replying!!! I'm gonna stay 6 days, so I'll try to buy before I take the bus to be cheaper :) hopefully I'm won't get lose haha saludos desde España!!!
how much is cost?
good day to you Madam...
pls can you share to me how much is the salary of a bus driver there in croatia..now that youre currency is in euro...
thank you very much🙏🙏🙏
Hola cómo estás? Soy argentino, descendiente de croatas. Mi apellido es Knezovich(tengo entendido que originalmente era "Knezović") me gustaría saber si tiene un significado y si es un apellido común allá. Muchas gracias, me encantaría conocer Croacia algún día! Saludos desde Argentina!!
Da, tvoje prezime dolazi od rijeci "knez"=prince. I onda se dodaje ".ovic"
Kao prezime "Kovacevic" dolazi od rijeci "Kovac + .evic"
Kovac=blacksmith
Ima puno takvih prezimena koja nastaju cesto u porodicama koje su se bavile nekim poslom/zanatom.
Ocigledno je tvoja porodica nekih plemenitih korjena. Ispitan svoju povjest.

You are living in croatia dear friend
Thanks but it would be more helpful to us tourists if you'd explain how tickets or passes are purchased and what is involved in taking buses between cities.
The online reviews of FlixBuses in Croatia makes it sound like they are a nightmare.
You are very Beautiful smart 👍
Unfortunately the intercity service is somehow problematic. Mainly in Istria.
Yes, unfortunately 🙁😨
1. You are very cute...
2. Can you pay in cash on the bus or should you have a pass? If so any short term pass for 3 days?
